We calculated these favourite animals by going to each Motuapu class and asking the children what their favourite animals are.

Then we put our data into a bargraph.

PricesFor two buses it costs $870 to get to The Auckland Zoo and back to The Gardens School.

It cost $11 per student to enter The Auckland Zoo and $22 per adult to enter The Auckland Zoo.

The total cost for day is $2256.

Cost per person for the bus trip is approximately $4.30.

Students: 81

Adults: 18

Total: 99

Amount of children in each class: In Ruru 2 there is 28 children, in Kereru 1 there is 27 children and in Kakapo 1 there is 26 children. We added 28+27+26=81

For each class there will be 6 adult supervisor. 6x3= 18 which means 18 adults will be coming.

Red PandaThe Red Panda's diet is vegetables so that makes him a herbivore.

The Red Panda's weight is 5.4kgs - 6kgs.

The average lifespan for a Red Panda living in the wild is 7-8 years.

The scientific name for the red panda is "Ailurus fulgnes or Shinning-cat

The red panda is endangered and there are only fewer than 10,000 left in the entire world and the red panda is very vulnerable.
