A trip to the Calgary tower
For new Canadians
Results
• My group that I have been assigned is new Canadians
• In my survey monkey the group for new Canadians’ activity that was most popular was going to the Calgary tower.
Preventions
• The reasons that someone wouldn’t want to go are if they Are afraid of heights, they don’t enjoy social environments, or they have other fears that the tower has a part in
Risks
• If you eat there, there could be an allergy concern
• Getting sick if someone there is sick• You could have cardio issues if you go up the
stairs• You can get really scared if you look out the
window and if you have history you could possibly faint
Level of risk
• This activity isn’t really that risky• There are just everyday risks that we face• Since it is indoors the risk is low
Comfort
• I think new Canadians would be comfortable doing this because it’s a nice view and its inside a building
• There is no physical challenge involved• It can be relaxing • You can jut be laid back and have a good time
Motivation
• New Canadians would be motivated to go here because you can see the whole city
• When you’re at the tower you are given information about the city
• If you want to learn about the city you live in then this would be a good start
• This could also be a great way to meet new people
Different for the seasons
• It’s a different view in the different cities• It may be busier in the winter for dining
because people would enjoy the view • There might be more difficulty getting there in
the winter• The parking may be an issue all year round
Costs
• Adult(18-64)-$14.75• Seniors (65+)-12.50• Youth(13-17)-$10.50 • Children(4-12) $6.50 • Children 3- free
