When I first read this tribute I was touched. Many people accredit their instructors, but to be thought of, even after our passing, like Ed Parkers
students thought of him is very, very special.
Ed Parker is credited with many theories, that bettered Kenpo Karate, and for those that ‘look outside the box’, all styles of martial arts. But to be remembered beyond his pioneering role in the martial arts, beyond
his unique theories & to be looked at as a ‘father’ to his students is praise-worthy indeed.
A way, all instructors, I believe, would like to be remembered!
We can only hope to achieve a slither of what Ed Parker did in his
lifetime, in ours!
