Considering the human position in universe at one side which is construed as identity, is a Controversial issue in Iran contemporary architecture and at the other side because of lots of new issues, mostly cultural problems, it has undergone fundamental changes. So we have tried to study concepts of identity and culture in different approaches with an Analytical-research approach, and then their effect on cities’ physical features. The result shows that city’s identity is indigenous with effects on its physical features. The city will be influenced by its people’s culture over time, and when this cultural perspective along with awareness outcrops in city, The enhance of beauty and quality can be considered. As a result, cities can with specific physical image and identities are distinct from other cities.
