On June 17th

One Sunday ev-en-ingI got myself readyFor a social gathering!

Dressed in redWith curls in my hair.The gold in my necklaceHelped shine my outfit

With flats on both feetSecured my steppingThat I’d be safe for the

eveningWithout falling in front of

people

It was a very exciting feelingAs I walked towardsThe gate for the enteringI handed in my ticketAnd walked through Without an escort

Finding my friends Standing next to them was their glamorous looking so called friends

Well groomed and standing proud

To show off theirPerfect tux

And classmates at their different corners

Looking very glamIn their very own designed outfits

With the DJ full suitedReady to take on the dance floor

Surrounded by foodWith colors of different veggies And tasteful meetYumm!I cant wait to dig in…

With music so loud Just makes you wannaStand upAnd shake a lilTill your time is up

School PromBut the teachers never

gave upWatching us as weGlided throughThe dance floorWith music so groovyWe had one hell of a funky

party!
