LocationNorthern Ireland is located in north-western Europe, on the island of Ireland, bathed in the waters of the East Irish Sea, to

the south - the Celtic Sea and the west - the open Atlantic Ocean.

Currency The pound sterling is the official currency.

Public holiday As in the Republick of Ireland, a public holiday in Nothern

Ireland is St Patrick’s Day, on 17th March. Towns and cities all over the country hold parades with colorful floast and marching bands and dancers and people wear green clothes and piece of clover called a shamrock.

Official language English is the official language but Gaelic & Ulster Scots are also recognised.

Patron St Patrick is a patron of Northern Ireland.

Traditional DishThe Ulster Fry is probably the best-known traditional

dish of Northern Ireland. It is a big breakfast consisting of bacon, eggs, sausages, potato farls, black pudding, white pudding, vegetable roll, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and soda bread served with coffe or tea.

AttractionThe Giant’s Causeway is one of Northern Ireland’s most famous attractions. It is a spectacular area of over 40 000 basalt columns and is a World Heritage Site. According to legend, the giant Finn Mac Cool created this impressive causeqay, but geologists believe it was the result of a volcanic eruption.

Australia is a continent between the Indian and South Pacific Oceans.

million and althought Sydney is the largest city, its capital is Canberra.

Australia Day is a nationaly holiday in Austarlia. It is on 26th January and commemorates the founding of the first British colony in Austarlia in 1788. On Australia Day people celebrate with parades, barbecues and fireworks.

PatronAustralia has only one patron and that is Our Lady Help

of Christians. The feast day is celebrated on 24 May.

Traditional dish Australia does not have an official national dish, but meat pie

is one of the most popular dishes. Australians also love barbucue parties.

Currency The official currency of Australia is the Australian dollar.

Attraction The Great Barrier Reef is one of Australia’s most beautiful and

famous attractions. It is the world’s largest coral reef and is home to some of the most wonderful sea creatures including turtles, dolphins and sharks.

New Zealand is a country in the south- western Pacific Ocean. It cosists of two large islands and a number of other smaller islands. It has breathtaking landscapes of mountains, volcanoes, vast forests and plains.

Capital The capital of New Zealand is Wellington.

Official Language There are three official languages in New

Zealand: English, Maori and sign language.

National holiday in New Zealand is the 6th February, Waitangi Day.

Patron New Zealand does not have a patron; however, it is identified

with kiwi bird.

Traditional Dish National dish of New Zealand is pavlova, although some

disagree. Hangi is a traditional Maori method of cooking chicken or pork with potatoes and cabbage using heated rocks buried in a pit oven. New Zealanders prepare food using the hangi method on special occasions.

New Zealand.

Attractions New Zealand is home to a wide variety of animals,

the most famous of which is the flightless bird, the kiwi which is also one of its emblems along with the silver fern. Rotorua is one of the most famous destinations in New Zealand. Its natural hot springs draw people from all over the world. Natural hot springs can be found in numerous places on both the North and South islands of New Zealand.

It is located in the Atlantics Ocean, northwest of continental Europe. It has a mild climate with mild winters and cool summers.
