SUCCESSES:Led the team of Disaster Program Managers and Disaster Program Specialists through an Employee Engagement Survey Feedback session leading to more positive, direct communications. After receiving the feedback I implemented daily trivia facts for fun, engaged in individual conversations on feedback and shared innovative ideas from the team, providing appropriate credit.Identified interests and strengths of team members and utilized the staff in leadership positions on regional DROs. Identified a region-wide hurdle in volunteer recruitment for Home Fire Campaign events and worked with the Regional Director of Volunteer Services to clarify the process and improve communications. Developed a week-long training orientation for new hires including meetings with all regional leadership and lines of business, as well as informational binders for reference guides.

Collaborated with the Bluegrass Region Sr. Disaster Program Manager to ensure consist programs and services, under the direction of a Regional Disaster Program Officer. Coordinated disaster responses with regional staff to ensure proper material and human resource management. Provided operational guidance and support to the five (5) Disaster Program Managers in the Kentuckiana Region and to the four (4) Disaster Program Managers in the absence of the Bluegrass Region Sr. Disaster Program Manager.

SUCCESSES:Implemented weekly conference calls to allow for information sharing.Developed an event planning tool to assist in weather-related readiness in each territory.
