2015-2016

Anti-Drug Awareness Program

Date of the Event: 10th

October 2015

Description of the Program:

The main strategical goals are focused on Identifying the biological, environmental,

behavioural, social causes and consequences of drugs usage and addiction across the

lifespan. Develop new and improved strategies to prevent drug use and its consequences.

This program was conducted by NSS Unit, JNTUHCEH. In this Program, Principal, Vice-

Principal, all departmental faculties and nearly 100 volunteers, have been Participated.


2015-2016

Anti-Ragging Rally Camp

Date of Event: 09th

November 2015



A gamut of positive reinforcement activity will have to be adopted by Anti Ragging

Camp for orienting students and modelling their personalities for a better cause.

This program was conducted by NSS Unit of JNTUHCEH. In this, Hon’ble Principal, Vice-

Principal, all departmental faculties and more than 200 volunteers were participated.

Youth Festival Program

The Description of the Program of Youth Festival Program is to provide platform to

bring youth of this country together in attempt to provide them an opportunity to showcase

their talents in various activities.

This program was organised by NSS Unit, JNTUHCEH, and in collaboration with JNTUH

University. In this Program, nearly 20 volunteers have been participated.

Swachh Bharath Program

To bring about an improvement in the general quality of life in the rural areas, by promoting

cleanliness, hygiene and eliminating open defecation. To accelerate sanitation coverage in

rural areas to achieve the vision of Swachh Bharat

This program was organised by NSS Unit, JNTUHCEH. In this Program, nearly 100

volunteers, both Teaching and Non-Teaching faculty Members of JNTUHCEH have been

participated.

20th National Youth Festival Program

Its Description of the Program is to provide platform to bring youth of this country together

in attempt to provide them opportunity to showcase their talents in various activities.

volunteers, Principal, Vice principal and all departmental faculty members have been

participated.

National Voters Day Program


January 2016



The main purpose of this program is to encourage, facilitate and maximize the enrolment,

especially for the new voters. Dedicated to the voters of the country, the Day is utilized to

spread awareness among voters for promoting informed participation in the electoral process.

This program was conducted by NSS Unit of JNTUHCEH. In this Program nearly 100

volunteers, Principal, Vice-Principal and various department Faculty members have been

participated.


2016-2017

International YOGA Day

Date of the Event: 21st June 2016.



The main Description of the Program behind this observation is to make this ancient practice

popular among the present generation of people who are unaware of its benefits. Adopting

this practice is believed to provide significant relief from physical ailments and mental

tension which plagues our day to day life

The program was Combinely conducted by NSS Unit of JNTUHCEH and IST. In this

Program, nearly 150 volunteers, Principal, IST Director, Vice-Principal and all department

faculty members have been participated.

Haritha-Haram (A Green Tree Plantation) Program

Date of Event: 8th

JULY 2016



The main Description of the Program of this Haritha-Haram Scheme is to build the Telangana

State into a Green-State by planting trees, which may cover to at least one-third of the state's

geographical areas.

volunteers, Rector, Registrar of JNTUH and Principal, Vice-Principal and all departmental

2016-2017

Blood Donation Camp


August 2016



The main Description of the Program of this program is “Donate Blood and Save Life”, in

this regard, create awareness and motivate people for Donating Blood. To help anyone, in case

of any requirement of blood and to continuous supply of blood through voluntary Blood

Donation in Government blood banks and Red-Cross Society.

This program was conducted by NSS Unit of JNTUHCEH. In this Program, nearly 350 units

of blood collected and donated to Thalassemia and Seckle society of Hyderabad.

1. Mr. Etukuri Lalith Adithya, volunteer of NSS Unit JNTUHCEH has received State

“NSS Best Volunteer Award-2016” By Govt. of Telangana.

Medical Camp

The Description of the Program of conducting the health camp was to create awareness of

general health among the people, provide general and good health care services and

counselling them on basic healthcare and hygiene.

Mission Kakatiya


February 2017



The Description of the Program of “Mission Kakatiya” is to enhance the development of

agriculture based income for small and marginal farmers, by accelerating the development of

minor irrigation infrastructure, strengthening community based irrigation management and

adopting a comprehensive programme for restoration of tanks.

EENADU News Paper. In this, more than 200 volunteers, Principal, Vice-Principal and

National Integration Camp


November 2018

NIFAA organized National Integration Camps by inviting artists and social activists

from various parts of the country for a 7 days long residential camps in Nizamabad Dist.

The main of this camp is to provide the youth from different parts of the country and from

diverse religious and cultural backgrounds a common platform to interact with each other,

know each other's customs and life styles, to work together in community welfare

projects and in the process make them aware of the underlying unity amidst diversity.

This program was conducted by ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in association

with regional director of NSS Hyderabad at Nizamabad. One Student from our JNTUCEH

NSS Chapter have attended and received participation certificate.


2018-19

Candle Rally for Pulwama Attack

Date of Event: 18th

February 2019


On 14 February 2019, in Jammu Srinagar National Highway a convoy vehicles carrying

Indian Army was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber at Lethpora in the Pulwama

district, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The attack resulted in the deaths of 40 Central Reserve

Police Force personnel and the attacker.
