Q1It is built over a natural hot spring and the scalding water runs through the castle walls, warming halls and rooms. There are several open pools where heated water collects within the godswood. The hot spring also prevents the ground from freezing both in summer and winter.

Which castle?

Q2X is an ancient stronghold of the First Men on the northern edge of the great swamp known as the Neck, in the south of the north. It is less than twenty miles from the headwaters of the Fever River. It is one of the north's most important strongholds, though much of it now stands in ruins. Its importance stems from the fact that it commands the causeway, which is the safe route for armies to travel through the swamps of the Neck.

X is?

Q3X is the smallest of the great castles in the story, consisting of seven slim towers bunched tightly together. It has no stables, kennels, or smithies, but the towers can house 500 men, and the granary can sustain a small household for a year or more. X does not keep livestock on hand; all dairy produce, meats, fruits, vegetables etc. must be brought from below.

It is situated on the Giant's Lance, and is reachable only by a narrow mule trail, guarded by the three small castles, titled Stone, Snow, and Sky.

Q4The television adaptation filmed the scenes of X's port at Lordsport Harbour in Ballintoy Harbour, in Northern Ireland's County Antrim. The sea has worn away much of the rock on which X originally stood, so the castle now consists mostly of a main keep on the main island and smaller towers perched on rocks, linked by stone arches over the smaller gaps, and rope bridges over larger. X is?

Q5X is the largest castle in the Seven Kingdoms, is the seat of House Whent in the riverlands, on the north shore of the Gods Eye lake. Upon its completion, its builder boasted that his new fortress was impregnable. It is too big to garrison effectively and too expensive to maintain. It is believed by some that the castle is cursed and haunted due to the builder’s hubris and the horrors that have occurred within the castle's walls. He allegedly mixed human blood into the mortar for the stonework. The curse is thought to prevent any lord from holding X indefinitely.

X is?

Q6The mighty fortress called X has stood for centuries, facing the terrible weather of Shipbreaker Bay with little wear to show for it. Legend claims that it was built by Durran, who declared a war against the gods after they killed his family and guests, ruining his wedding to their daughter Elenei. It was said Durran Godsgrief raised six castles, each larger and more formidable than the last, but all were destroyed by storms.

The massive seventh castle is also called Durran's Defiance because it was able to endure the storms. Some believe this was because the children of the forest took a hand in its construction, using their magics in raising the castle walls which allow it to resist the storms. Others believe that a young boy who grew up to be Bran the Builder advised Durran on its construction.

Which castle?

Q7X is carved out of a great stone hill colossal rock beside the Sunset Sea. It has been measured at three times the height of the Wall or the Hightower of Oldtown. It is almost two leagues long from west to east, and contains tunnels, dungeons, storerooms, barracks, halls, stables, stairways, courtyards, balconies, and gardens. In the bowels are rooms where caged lions were once kept, and cells for the worst prisoners.

Q8It consists of a strong, fortified castle and a town that sprawls around it. It is a town built largely of mud and straw. The town's largest structure is _______, a 150-feet structure with a pinnacle of shining steel.

+10/0Named after two of the major houses in Westeros, this is the last episode of the series written by George R.R. Martin. Martin had intended to write an episode for every season, but stopped to concentrate on writing the sixth "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel, "The Winds of Winter“. Sigur Ros, an Icelandic post-rock band, was hired for this episode. You can listen to their version of 'Rains Of Castamere' at the end credits of the episode, and witness the band itself; the three of them are those whom the king throws coins at.
