Jer 15:19. ‘If you extract the precious from the worthless, you will become My

spokesman.’

‘In many congregations the person of the prophet, the gift of prophecy and the

prophetic ministry has been marginalised, minimised and ultimately missed out on,

because the man and the message has so often failed to work within the boundaries

and parameters of the local church.’

Alternatively terrified church leaderships have held the prophetic ministry at arms length through fear and ignorance. Either way the church has suffered tremendously

and unnecessarily and this crucial ingredient of New Testament church life has fallen into

disrepute.’

Jh 16:13 ‘Maar wanneer Hy gekom het, die Gees van die waarheid, sal Hy julle in die

hele waarheid lei; want Hy sal nie uit Homself spreek nie, maar alles wat Hy hoor, sal Hy spreek en die toekomstige dinge aan

julle verkondig.’
