The Psalmist David’s Prayer – Vs 19-24

Many might ask, "Why does David make an abrupt change in this psalm?“

Why does David ask that God destroy the wicked?

David had contemplated and concluded that God knew him, was near him, and concerned about him; therefore,

David sought to ask something from God

Isn’t this exactly what we do when we think of God’s love for us?
