A People of the Book: Application

How should spiritual questions be answered? By an appeal to the word of God (Mt.

19.4-7; Eph. 3.4).“What is the work of the local church?”“As a Christian, what efforts may I

financially support?” My words must be consistent with

Scripture (1 Pet. 4.11).“What is God’s will for my life?”

With joyous conviction (Rom. 1.16).Is the gospel a blessing or a burden?

With Christ’s authority (Col. 3.17).“What must I do to be saved?”
