Why Walk When You Can Dance! - ellen van dam

As stated in your class confirmation, all classes have a required

dance or theatre attire that must be adhered too.

Absolutely no loose fitting shorts or jeans and all hair must

be up and away from face and neck for all classes.

Bootie shorts with tights can be worn for class and skirts for ballet as well.

All Ballet Classes (Primary & up) are required to wear the Academy leotard for class.

The required Class Attire can be found on our website. The link is included on your class confirmation.

Students not dressed in proper attire will not be permitted to participate in class.

REQUIRED ATTIRE

All students starting in an old pair of shoes will need the required shoe

by January when we come back after the holiday break.

Our Academy store stocks all required shoes and attire.

Infinite Motion Performing Arts Academy generally closes if area schools

are closed due to severe weather, including anticipated icy road conditions.

We err on the side of caution in considering travel conditions for our

students and staff, as the majority of our teachers travel quite a distance to

get here.

Class cancellations due to inclement weather will be posted on our website,

Remind 101 and our social media feeds at least 1 hour prior to a class start

time. IMPAA does not refund tuition due to inclement weather or other acts

of severe nature that cannot be avoided. Students can make up the

cancelled class in any other class of their choice at the Academy in the same

age/level. If a class/day has to be cancelled more than two times due to

inclement weather, we will offer make-up classes.

SICKNESS: As cold and flu season approaches, let’s all try to stay healthy!

Please be mindful to keep your child home if he/she is not feeling well. All missed

classes can be made up in an age appropriate class at your convenience.

WAITING AREAS & WIFI If you are waiting during your child’s class time, there are places you can

relax...the front benches in the store and the

large waiting area in Suite 7.

We ask that parents keep the Student Areas clear

for students to get ready for class or to do home-

work. These areas include the Green Room in

Suit 1 where all cubbies are and the bench/

cubby area in the large parent waiting area. We

appreciate your cooperation as we want all stu-

dents to have full access to the cubby and bench

areas.

WIFI can be accessed by using “InfiniteGuest”

and the password is impaa123.

HELP KEEP OUR PROFESSIONAL FLOORS CLEAN!

It is imperative that students DO NOT wear their dance shoes outside.

We are still waiting for backordered shoes to come in….sorry! We

hope they will all be in shortly. We do realize that some of you are

starting with shoes that still fit from last year as well...that’s perfectly

fine! Note that by mid-season, all students will need the required shoe

so they can start breaking them in for the end of year performance.

Our Academy store stocks all required shoes and attire. In the

meantime, please do not wear shoes from outside to your class.

All dance and theatre rooms have raised marley flooring and cannot

withstand dirt, rocks and debris. If you are waiting for your shoes,

please take class barefoot. Our floors are cleaned regularly and are

fragile to shoes from outdoors. We see many students coming into the

studio wearing their dance shoes and leaving with them on. If they

come into the studio with their shoes on, they will have to take them

off in order to participate in class.

HEALTHY SNACKS

We sell healthy

snacks and

water in the

store for

$1.00.

PLEASE

REMEMBER,

Only Water is

permitted in

the

studios.

Change Your Shoes Before Stepping on the Studio Floor

BE ON TIME

Please try to arrive

to class about 10

minutes early.

Children focus better

in class when they

don’t have to sit too

long waiting & when

they are not rushed

in late. Thanks!
