What is co-working?
Co-working essentially involves an environment where professionals, small companies, freelancers & startups come together to work towards their business. This environment is basically of a shared office space, complete with all facilities that one requires during their hours at the office, including peace of mind, high speed WiFi, coffee & chai, conference & meeting rooms, printing and lockers etc. The users pay a small fee per seat.
What is neighborhood co-working (NCW)?
Neighborhood co-working (NCW), as the name suggests, is different from co-working as it caters to target audience nearby (< 5 kms). The fundament premise - people love to work in a high quality office facility close to their place of residence / business rather that driving or commuting long distance. This makes NCW unique in its target segment, marketing & size of facility etc.
Co-working in India & future growth
Co-working market in India is poised for a massive growth over coming years. This new
phenomenon which started in west over last 6-7 years is becoming a new trend in India. As per
real estate advisory firm CBRE, Indian Co-working industry will take commercial space of
approximately 10 Million SqFt by 2020. Another global real estate firm JLL identified co-
working as the top trends of 2017 and beyond.
About – The Office Pass
The Office Pass, part of TOP Technologies Private Limited, is a technology platform that connects companies & professionals - especially women - to warm, friendly, ready to use & high quality “neighborhood co-working offices”. We are expanding from a single NCW in Gurgaon to 40+ NCWs across India over next 24-30 months.
Manager / Senior Manager Business Development
You will be contributing to our growth thru
Revenue generation: you will help the business generate revenue by providing
coworking / shared office solutions to small n mid size companies looking for office
spaces. For this you will create a network of real estate agents / sales agents and
support their effort in closing deals. Your task will be to ensure over 90% occupancy of
our coworking offices in NCR region. Task will entail channel development, prospecting,
negotiating & closure.
Business promotion activities: you will identify and execute business promotion activities along with real estate / sales agents to make our coworking brand visible in front of the target segment. This includes participation in lead generation activities like meet-ups, shows, newspaper inserts etc.
Role requirement(s)
You will be a perfect fit if you
are MBA from a premier institute
5–8 years of concept selling experience thru channel partners / real estate agents
are high on energy, ownership and commitment to the assigned task
have sales experience in office renting / leasing business (directly / thru channel)
be able to get into the details and deliver results under highest expectations
are very good at negotiation & closing deal i.e., a deal maker
are entrepreneurial by nature & loves to work in a start-up environment
have a friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills
present well and communicate clearly and effectively
be open to new and innovative solutions
