Day 1 Welcome to BudapestArrive in Budapest and start your journey on one of Scenic’s luxury Space-Ships. This evening enjoy your welcome reception.

Day 2 BudapestEnjoy a guided informative city tour or alternatively, relax and unwind in the city’s famous thermal waters at Bath Szechenyi, a neo-baroque building in the city centre.

Day 3 BratislavaWith a knowledgeable local guide, discover the capital of Slovakia, with a walking tour around the city’s charming Old Town situated on the banks of the mighty Danube River.

Day 4 ViennaTake in the splendour of Schönbrunn Palace, one of the Austrian capital’s most popular attractions. Visit the city’s famous Spanish Riding School or take a trip to the city’s local Naschmarkt with a chef, where you can taste the local produce. This evening is one of the key highlights as you take in the opulence of Palais Liechtenstein while enjoying a glass of fine Austrian Sekt. Day 5 Dürnstein – MelkYou will arrive today in Dürnstein, known for its excellent tradition of wine making. Options today include a guided cycling tour from Dürnstein down to Melk. Alternatively, you can take a tour of the Abbey of Melk, a Benedictine abbey perched on a cliff top. This evening you will enjoy an informal talk and Q&A session with Aled Jones as he talks about his career and travel highlights as you take in the fine scenery at the beautiful Wachau Valley.

Day 6 Linz/SalzburgTake an excursion to the medieval Czech town of Ceský Krumlov, or journey to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, and the spectacular city backdrop for The Sound of Music.
