take up the case study of a manufacturing unit. Itis also my advice to you that do not try to guideyourself completely through books on astu

hastra . Here I amsharingwithyouwhatI call rev-olutionary vastu … which is not bookish knowl-edge but based on scientific reasons logic my-thologyandexperience.

The Main Entrance e of the factory will dependonthe road which is available to the plot. However,East, North, North East and North West are thedirections you should look for. The main gate

shouldbeaccompanied bya small gatebesides it. Forsecurity reasons mostly these gates are made of

metal grills. However, the name-plate of the organisation andaddress should beon a wooden board

printed in colours of prosperity like or-ange, yellow andgreen.

Decision Makers Officee is the most importantconsideration. I am explaining here two differentvastu guidelines. One of these is based on the com-mon belief among all vastu practitioners and lay-men and the other is what I call revolutionaryvastu . facing the North – see fig. 1.3. Energy in the Northis always more positive and better than the South.Hence, both the factors – towards which directionyou sit, and towards which direction you face, shouldbe considered.

Machineryy would includemanufacturing equip-ment which either consumes high amount of elec-tricity or is ancillary to the production process.

Equipment like furnace, heating equipment, boiler, heaters, and gen-erators should be placedin the South East area of the premises. It’s the firecornerandwill ensureef-ficient usage of theseequipments and lower

breakdowns (coloured Red in fig. 1.4). Other ma-chinery, which is low on power consumption butheavy should be placed in the South or South-Westarea of the factory. These corners are capable of handling more weight. Also, it should be borne inmind that the walls of the factory, particularly inSouth and West, should beof a slightlyhigherwidth

than the others (coloured Orange infig. 1.4)Raw Material and Finished Goods s both willhave a different place in the factory. All kinds of raw materials can be placed in the South/ West

or South-West cornersof the factory. They canalso be placed outsideof the factory in shedsor store rooms. Com-pletely finished goods, which are ready for

sale, should be placedin the North-West cor-

will depend on thearrangement of machinery inthe factory and the process by process activitiesrequired in the manufacturing of the product.Thisisadifficulttaskbecausetoarrangealltheac-tivitiesinonelinebasedon vastu guidelines is re-allynotpracticalinalotofcasesbecauseofthecir-cumstances. However, if this can be done withease, it will yield great results in efficiency.Production process should be ideally from theSouth and ending towards the North or alterna-tively from the West to the North. Here the end

product should come out in the East or North di-rections.

On the very entrance, the placement of avastudosha yantra after doing its appropriate pujaas per shastras wil l counter most of thenegative vastu problems in the factory. Also theusageofa Shri Yantram whichhastobeenergisedand a yantra of the planet which your line of activity represents should be placed in theNorth-East corner of the premises. These divine yantras areverypowerfulandhavegreatempha-sis when we cannot follow vastu principles by

modifying the premises by a lot of breaking andmaking.
