1. What to do with stale bread? What’s less valueable that that? We asked ourselves this question, and came out with this innovative idea: If birds love to eat bread crumbs, and love a comfortablenest; what better combination than a birdhouse made of bread? Birds would love it!

2. And what about bread that is not yet stale? That mushy loaf of bread that you love to soak onchocolate milk, for example… mmmmm! Soak bread? What if…. yeah, what if you used a loaf of bread as a coaster? The bread would retain all wetness, and keep the table clean.

3. And what if bread wasn’t square shape? We all like Nutella spread on a loaf of bread, adults, teensand kids love this afternoon snack. But if kids love it, and kids love to play… Wouldn’t they lovebread shaped in the form of a plane? or a fruit? Or in whatever form you can think of? We all knowthey would crazy for this.

4. And walking by the street, keeping an open mind and trying to think creatively, we noticed mostlittle shops logos or names are really boring. What if they were made of bread? That would be uniqueand cool right?

Finally we opted for the bread birdhouse.

For logistical reasons we could not build one (thebakery was closed), but we “painted” a model of what it would look like.

Just imagine it, easy to build, ecological and healthy, what else could a bird ask for?

Ps. For special days, you could even use multi-grain, forthe host’s birthday ;)
