Comments:This Fox film has already been released in the US HERE. TheEureka single-layered transfer looks good if not great. It isanamorphic and progressive and gives a consistent presentationwith decent contrast and detail. There isn't a lot of noise in thedarker scenes and no distracting artifacts.

Audio is 2.0 channel unremarkable but without major flaw. It is,predictably, flat but dialogue is audible. The film has, surprisingly,few instances of aggression. Eureka have included optionalEnglish subtitles on their PAL - region 2 disc.

No extras but a couple of trailers (US + Spanish).

This is a very interesting take - not on buccaneers but on childrenwith a reversion-factor ala Lord of the Flies. Highly entertainingwith a thoughtful subtext. Many will appreciate this film as morethan what many may presume as a simple pirate-adventure.
