A Guide to Using Invoice Templates
What can you do with Invoice Templates?
• Create templates that contain settings such as tax rates, payment terms and custom logos.
• Create templates containing items that you often or always include in an invoice.

When could you use Invoice Templates?
• Create templates for your main customers.• Create templates with tax settings for
different countries or states.• Create templates for similar work you carry
out frequently.

Invoice Templates Guide > Step 1 – Open Invoice Manager
Click INVOICE Manager, then click Invoice Templates.
Invoice Templates Guide > Step 2 – Create a New Template
Click CREATE TEMPLATE
Invoice Templates Guide > Step 3 – Name the Template
Enter a Template Name and Display Order then click CONTINUE
Invoice Templates Guide > Step 4 – Change Invoice Settings (if required)
Click on “Show Invoices Settings”, make any changes then click UPDATE.
Invoice Templates Guide > Step 5 – Enter Basic Invoice Details
Enter details for the Invoice Template then click CONTINUE
Invoice Templates Guide > Step 6 – Add items to the template
Add Line Items and Fixed Cost Items then click CREATE TEMPLATE.
Invoice Templates Guide > Step 7 – Using an Invoice Template
Start a new Invoice as normal then click the “Create from Template” link.
Invoice Templates Guide > Step 8 – Choosing an Invoice Template
Select the template from the drop-down list.
Invoice Templates Guide > Step 10 – Make any changes as needed
Carry on as you would for a normal invoice, making any required changes.
