Online proctored exam deliveryScheduling your exam is now quicker and easier than ever before. Online proctored (OP) exam delivery

allows you to take an exam in the comfort of your home or office, often the same day as booking.

What you’ll need to complete an online exam:

A working webcam so the proctor can do a work area scan and monitor you throughout the exam

A quiet room, similar to a testing centre, with no distractions, paperwork or personal belongings in your

immediate area

Review and test your system requirements are compatible, before scheduling your exam

Read the testing protocols

Run a system test and exam simulation on the same computer and in the same location you will do your

test from.

FAQ

What happens if I pass a single exam?

When you pass a single exam, you become a member of the Microsoft Certification Program. If your exam is eligible for a digital badge, you can also claim a badge for your work.

What are Microsoft badges?

In October 2016 Microsoft introduced digital badges for all MCSA, MCSE and MSCD certifications earned, as well as some exams. If a specific exam is eligible for a badge, it will be indicated in this guide by a badge icon next to the exam number. More exams are being evaluated and will be added to the eligible exam list in the future. The digital badge contains metadata specific to you and can be shared online or on your CV to verify your expertise.

FAQ

How long does the MCSE certification last?

The MSCE certification does no longer have a recertification requirement. Instead, the achievement date signifies how you keep up with changes to the technology. Every year, you have the opportunity to re-earn the certification by passing an exam from the list of electives, demonstrating your investment in broadening or deepening your skills. Each time you earn the certification, a new certification entry is added to your transcript.
