Isaiah 55 : 1 to 7
Matthew 7 : 7 to 14
Father God, the star that led the Magi to the stable announced to the world that its Saviour was born. Today we live in a world that is still covered by darkness, and still needing to make that journey to the stable door. May our lives reflect your light day by day, as we seek to serve where you have placed us. That we might be the means through which others can encounter Jesus Christ. Amen
ANNUAL REVISION OF CHURCH ELECTORAL ROLL The time is approaching for the Annual Revision of the Church Electoral Roll. If you attend St Michael’s on a regular basis, and are not on this Roll, why not consider signing up now? Application forms can be found in the racks on the table by the door of the Church or contact me. Completed forms should be returned to me by Sunday 18th March please. Thank you, Ruth Broadfoot.
RESTORATION PROJECT
We are now entering into the next phase of work which will require us to
prepare a major scheme and submit at least one major grant application.
To achieve this, we need to strengthen the team, in particular, we need 2
people.
• Someone to be the Minutes Secretary to the Buildings & Fundraising
Group, and to carry out general secretarial work associated with the
project
• Someone to join the Fundraising Group to assist with grant applications
or fundraising activities—or both!
If you think you can help with either of these roles, please speak to Mike
Reed or Simon Drew. Thank you.

LENT COURSE 2018 “To the Angel of The Church Write” - The Seven Churches of Revelation
This year, for our Lent course, we will be looking at the 7 letters, to 7 different Churches, which form the first section of St John’s “Revelation.” Each letter conveys a particular message (encouragement and challenge) from the Jesus of John’s vision to one of the Churches. What was the message for them 2000 years ago, and what does
it say to us today?? There will be 4 sessions on Tuesday evenings during Lent, 7.30pm to 9.00pm in
Number 28. Week 1 : 27/02 Introduction & Ephesus (Revelation 2 : 1 to 7) Week 2 : 06/03 Smyrna & Pergamum (Revelation 2 : 12 to 28)
Week 3 : 13/03 Thyatira & Sardis (Revelation 2 : 18 to 3 : 6) Week 4 : 20/03 Philadelphia & Laodicea (Revelation 3 : 7 to 22)
Do come and join us as we explore this portion of the Bible together and see what Jesus might have to say to the Angel of the Church in Middlewich!
