STEP 1: LOG IN TO PEARSON SUCCESS NET

STEP 2: CLICK ON INTERACTIVE DIGITAL PATH.

Click here

STEP 3: CLICK ON THE UNIT YOU ARE WORKING ON.

Click on the unit.

STEP 4: CLICK ON THE STORY YOU ARE WORKING ON.

Click on the story.

STEP 5: CLICK ON THE VIEW BUTTON.

Click on the view button.

STEP 6: RIGHT CLICK ON THE VIDEO THAT YOU ARE GOING TO EMBED.

Right click on the video.

STEP 7: CLICK ON OPEN IN NEW WINDOW.

Click on Open in new window.

STEP 8: LEFT CLICK ON THE LINK. RIGHT CLICK ON THE LINK. CLICK ON

COPY.

Click on copy.

Left click on the link. Right click

on the link.

STEP 9: OPEN THE POWERPOINT SLIDE YOU ARE WORKING ON.

STEP 10: HIGHLIGHT THE TEXT WHERE YOU WILL CREATE THE HYPERLINK. RIGHT CLICK. CLICK

HYPERLINK.

1. Highlight the text. Right click.

2. Click hyperlink.

STEP 11: RIGHT CLICK IN THE ADDRESS BAR. CLICK PASTE. CLICK OK.

1. Right click in the address bar.

Click paste.

2. Click OK.

THE VIDEO SHOULD NOW BE EMBEDDED. TO CHECK TO SEE IF IT IS, CLICK SLIDE SHOW. CLICK FROM CURRENT SLIDE. CLICK THE TEXT WHERE YOU PLACED THE HYPERLINK. MAXIMIZE THE VIDEO SCREEN. CLICK START AND THE VIDEO SHOULD PLAY.

When you click the link, it should take you directly to the video that you hyperlinked to. If it does not, then minimize the PowerPoint. Check to see if the Internet Explorer button is flashing. If it is, then click on it. The video opened but was minimized.

IF THE MESSAGE BELOW APPEARS, THEN THE VIDEO WAS NOT EMBEDDED CORRECTLY. TRY AGAIN.
