Purpose and Intended Outcomes
Purpose – To close the student achievement gap.
Research indicates that students who learn a world language perform better in all academic areas of the curriculum on standardized tests compared to monolingual students.
Intended Outcomes – To improve academic excellence, increase proficiency in world languages, have a global perspective and be culturally competent global citizens.
