I rotated through a variety of topics, trying to piece together how design could inform and address the issue on hand. Eventually, I landed ona broad topic that was always in the back of my mind. climate change. I know I was not the only person struggling with this either, it’s an issue that haunts many socially aware individuals. The first iteration of this thesis took the form of introducing sustainability and easily sustainable projects into household lives. My focus was to make agreener lifestyle more accessible and attainable for every unique living situation, whether that be a renter, homeowner etc. At that point my thesis took the form of a product marketed toinform and serve as a resource for those lookingto further expand their knowledge on sustainable living.

The problem that I had originally posed to myself, how to make people feel better about their contributions to climate change, seemed like a stretch when relating it back to the work I had produced. I decided to take a step back and rethink how to present my projects.
