THE DAY IN THE LIFE OF
1300's -1500's
SERVANT
COMIC
A servant's job is to serve and care for his or her master. The men wear trousers
and the woman wear baggy dresses. Since they are poor, they travel by foot unless they are picking up something special or valuable for their
master. Their home life is: eat, work, eat, work, eat, sleep. Because their life is so busy, they don't have time to dedicate to church attendance. They use most of their time working, but if they ever have ,extra time,
they are probably asleep.
In the Middle Ages, there were a lot of important people. Not all of the people were
considered important, and you are about to read about a group of people who weren't. They were so poor they were forced to serve
merchants, kings, knights, and people with nobility. They were called "SERVANTS."
A fun fact about servants is they aren't aloud to get married, EVER! They live their lives alone -not including their masters- and they also
died without anyone caring!!! If I was a servant, I would not be a happy person.
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a king and living in a castle? Well,
now you have a great opportunity to follow your dreams. King Arthur is
becoming too old to rule and needs a heir.
He left this note saying, "Form the solids and find their places. How
many edges, points and faces? The shapes that make two will pass the
test, but the one that does not will be your quest. Three times as long as it
is wide, the true King's future is inside."
In the END - I hope this rhymes - the new heir is Sir Vertex who will
proudly take the King's space when he becomes too old to rule this place.
If you were wondering, Sir Vertex used the two's method shown to the
side. To do this you have to count the corner points & faces add them
together and subtract the edges!
