He also provides administrative oversight and serves as co-chair of the advisory board of the University of California’s National Center for Free Speech and Civic Engagement. The Academic Senate Presents Song Richardson Dean Richardson is a distinguished legal scholar in the areas of criminal law, criminal procedure, and law and social science and the recipient of numerous awards. She is the co-editor of The Constitution and the Future of Criminal Justice in America (Cambridge University Press, 2013). Her article “Police Efficiency and the Fourth Amendment” was selected as a “must read” by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
