† THE READING OF THE SERMON TEXT (REMAIN STANDING) THE TEXT 1 Samuel 11-12 Minister: The Word of the Lord. Cong: Thanks be to God.
† NICENE CREED:WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, THE FATHER ALMIGHTY; Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. AND IN ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God; Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made; being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made; Who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven; And was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, and was made man; And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried; And the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures; And ascended into heaven; And sits on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead; Whose kingdom shall have no end. AND WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY GHOST; the Lord and Giver of life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets and in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for the resurrection of the dead; And the life ofthe world to come. Amen

† THE LORD’S PRAYER
THE LORD’S SUPPER (all seated)
At Trinity Church East Bay we invite to the table all of those who have been baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and who are living in submission to Jesus Christ and His
Church, regardless of age or mental capacity.
After the example of our Lord, we drink real wine and we eat of the bread, and drink the wine as they are passed.

COMMUNION
Thanksgiving for the Wine and Words of Institution
At TCEB, we don’t think the Lord’s supper is a time of gloom and introspection. It is the family meal of Christ’s people, where Christ himself invites us to sit at His table. It is a joyous feast, where we commune
with Christ and His body, the Church. Therefore we encourage you to greet and speak to those around you, in the peace of Christ, as the wine is passed.
Minister: “The Body and Blood of our Lord strengthen and preserve you steadfast in the true faith unto life everlasting; in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” Amen.
