Christmas message from Mrs Abdulla

We made it! No bubble or school closures all term - this is a real achievement and it is down to the dedication of the team, the maturity of the children and the support from all the parents. Keeping the children and the community safe has been our top priority throughout this term and we have achieved it. Well done everyone! We are all looking forward to Christmas, even though it will be very different this year, and our whole staff team would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year. I would also like to thank-you for supporting all the new changes in relation to Covid. Rules will not be changing in January; we must still maintain social distancing and we ask that you continue to wear face coverings.

My greatest thanks goes to the children for their hard work, motivation

and enthusiasm. They are all so very special and the behaviour and

maturity of our children has been outstanding. They have followed all

the new Covid rules and have adapted along the way - they have been

truly magnificent. I feel privileged and proud to be the headteacher at

Teagues Bridge.

We have much to celebrate here at Teagues Bridge: the teaching team

are the best I have ever worked with as they are hardworking,

committed, passionate and ‘in it’ for the children. I am honoured to

work with such a talented and committed team. They have had to take

on board many changes; from cleaning to serving dinners in classrooms,

washing hands regularly and sanitising throughout the day (all whilst

continuing to teach). My heart pours with gratiutude to the way they

have embraced this, never moaning and always rising to the next

challenge.

I am sure that you would like to join with me in thanking all of the

staff and governors at Teagues Bridge Primary School for their

continued tremendous hard work and commitment to the children of

the school during this very difficult year.

Teagues Bridge is a wonderful place to learn and grow. We all are working together to do the best for the children, as they are always at the forefront of our decisions. Every child is a different kind of flower and together they make this garden beautiful. On behalf of everybody, we wish you, your family and the children, a stress-free and peaceful Christmas and every blessing for the New Year. I pray for, and wish everyone, peace and happiness in all homes
