ELIGIBILITY: Subject to the exclusions below, the Contest is open only to legal residents of Malaysia who are 18 years old or older at the time of entry ("Eligible Entrants"). Entrants are not eligible to enter or win the Contest if they are: a) an employee, officer, director, representative or agent of MY E.G. Services Berhad and Pacific & Orient Insurance Co. Berhad (the “Organisers”), its parent, subsidiaries, related or affiliated companies or, if applicable, any of their respective advertising or promotion agencies, or any other company or individual engaged in the provision of goods or services related to this Contest (collectively, the "Contest Parties"’); or b) a member of the immediate family (parent, child, sibling, spouse, grandparent, grandchild, cousin, aunt or uncle, whether related through blood, marriage, common law, civil union or adoption, regardless of where they live) or household (whether related or not), of any of the above individuals. 2. CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins at 12:00AM, 1 JUNE 2021 and ends at 11:59PM, 31 AUGUST 2021 unless varied, suspended or cancelled as set out herein (the "Contest Period"). 3. TO ENTER: Eligible Entrants can obtain entry into the Contest by renewing their vehicle insurance with any MYEG panel insurer. a) Renewing vehicle insurance with any MYEG panel insurer: 1 entry b) Renewing vehicle insurance with Pacific & Orient Insurer: 5 entries The entries earned have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, each entry will be considered to have been submitted by the Registered Owner (as defined below) of the car registration number associated with the entry. “Registered Owner” is defined as the natural person whose name is registered as the owner to the car registration number issued by the Road Transport Department Malaysia. 4. TO WIN: A random draw will be held from among all eligible entries at the end of the Contest Period to select an Eligible Entrant to win the Prize (as defined below). Entries to win mini prizes ends on 11.59pm, 30 June 2021. Entries to win grand prize ends on 11.59pm, 31 August 2021. In order to be declared a winner, the selected Eligible Entrant will be required to present proof of identification, in the form of a drivers' license or other form of government-issued photo identification. The Organisers reserve the right to verify any of the foregoing requirements including, but not limited to, proof of age and jurisdiction of residence prior to awarding the Prize. If an entrant’s name is drawn and they are unqualified, the Prize may be forfeited in the Organisers’ sole and absolute discretion. 5. PRIZES DETAILS: There is one (1) grand prize available to be won, being a Proton X50 and eight (8) Samsung Galaxy A02s mini prizes to be awarded and given out to the winners by the Organisers. Prizes will be delivered to the Prize winner within four (4) to six (6) weeks from the date of successful contact and/or verification in these Terms and Conditions. Winners must accept the Prizes as awarded by the Organisers or the Prizes will be forfeited. Prizes cannot be transferred nor substituted or redeemed for cash, except at the Organisers’ sole and absolute discretion. Failure to verify or declare winners or otherwise will result in such unclaimed Prizes being forfeited and not awarded. The Organisers reserve the right and has the absolute discretion to alter, add, cancel or substitute any or all of the prizes of this Contest with an alternative prize of similar value at any time without prior notice. 6. NOTIFICATION OF ELIGIBLE WINNERS: Selected entrants will be notified within five (5) Business Days of the draw by telephone at the telephone number provided during insurance renewal. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within seven (7) calendar days of the first attempt to contact the selected entrant, the Organisers shall have the sole and absolute discretion to forfeit the selected entrant’s opportunity to be declared a winner. If the Organisers are unable to reach the selected entrant within the time given, attempted notification is returned as undeliverable or if selected entrant fails to: (i) accept the Prize as awarded or, (ii) otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions, the selected entrant may be disqualified and the Prize may be forfeited, at the Organisers’ sole and absolute discretion. The Organisers’ shall not be responsible for any failed attempts to reach a selected entrant or any matters in connection therewith. Thereafter, the Organisers shall have the full power and liberty (but not the obligation) to proceed to award the relevant prize to the next shortlisted winner (who is not disqualified under or in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions). For purposes of this paragraph 6, the term “Business Days” means a day (other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday) on which commercial banks are open for general banking business in Kuala Lumpur. 7. RIGHT TO SUSPEND/MODIFY/TERMINATE: The Organisers reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend or cancel the Contest at any time if, for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest (“Interruptions”). If terminated, the Organisers may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine the winners from among all eligible entries received up to time of such action using the procedures outlined herein. Notwithstanding anything contained herein, the Organisers reserve the right and has the sole and absolute discretion to vary the Contest Period, suspend, cancel or terminate this Contest with or without any prior notice or reason. 8. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: No liability or responsibility is assumed by the Organisers and/or Contest Parties resulting from entrant's participation in or attempt to participate in the Contest, ability or inability to upload or download any information in connection with the Contest, or from the disruption of third-party services such as mail delivery. No responsibility or liability is assumed by the Organisers and/or Contest Parties for interruptions, technical problems or technical malfunction arising in connection with any of the following occurrences which may affect the operation of the Contest: hardware or software errors; faulty computer, cable, satellite, network, electronic, Internet connectivity or other online or network communication problems; errors or limitations of any Internet service providers, servers, hosts or other providers; garbled, jumbled or faulty data transmissions; failure of any online transmissions to be sent or received; lost, late, delayed or intercepted transmissions; traffic congestion on the Internet or servers; unauthorised human or non-human intervention of the operation of the Contest, including without limitation, unauthorised tampering, hacking, theft, virus, bugs, or worms; or destruction of any aspect of the Contest, or loss, miscount, misdirection. The Organisers and/or Contest Parties are not responsible for any printing, typographical, technical, computer, network or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest, the processing of the Organisers and/or Contest Parties are not responsible for any personal injury or property damage or losses of any kind which may be sustained to user's or any other person's computer equipment resulting from participation in the Contest.
