Joseph moved to Idaho with his band(tribe) because the government forced his tribe to move.

*His tribe, the Nez Perce moved to Oklahoma. *He moved to Oklahoma in June because the government forced his tribe to move again.

• His speech was that he wanted peace between his tribe and the U.S. government.

• It really improved how the government treated the Nez Perce tribe.
