The visionary masterplan for the Gosford City Centre highlights the significant growth, development and enhanced connectivity planned for the region. It outlines the improvements to infrastructure, sporting facilities, public amenity

and recreational attractions. Identified are five major precincts which will be transformed under the masterplan, encouraging people to reside, work and play in the area. Under construction is the new NorthConnex motorway project which will link neighbouring Kariong to the Sydney CBD with no traffic lights. The Federal Government’s relocation of the ATO and the NSW State Finance Department’s relocation to Gosford (scheduled for 2018) will

result in a major increase in the local workforce which will in turn have a flow-on effect for local businesses. Similarly, Gosford Hospital is currently undergoing a $400m upgrade and is set to employ more than 1000 new staff.
