COMPANY PROFILE

DCC - DUCT FACTORY

Doha Climate Control is an ISO 9001 – 2008 Company offers solutions in areas such as

heating, ventilation, Refrigeration, air conditioning, climate control and other electro-

mechanical projects.

DCC is having a modern factory, with high quality ducting, produced by means of CNC

machines in the industrial Area-Qatar, having a production capacity of 2000 Sqm per day.

DCC manufactures Galvanized iron, Black steel, Stainless steel, Pre-insulated Ducts and

Aluminium cladding work of various gauges and applications. Our plant employs state –of-

art computer controlled machinery capable of carrying out work at high speed with accuracy.

Fabrication is carried out as per specifications of client’s choice be it. ASHRAE, SMACNA

and DW144 or custom specifications.

Over the years, DCC got approvals from major clients like, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Gas,

Kahramaa, Qatar Foundation – SIDRA Hospital, MOI, Private Engineering – Duhail

Stadium, Workers Hospital and Barzan camp etc.

DCC employs a total work force of 80 highly qualified and experienced staff, where several

of employees have stayed with the company for more than 9 years, due to the company’s

policy of long term employment as Human Resources is the key factor in development &

success of the company.

The supervisors & technicians are trained regularly to ensure smooth execution of

manufacturing processes. Furthermore, the production department is backed by a material &

quality control department to ensure material conformity & quality of finished products. With

its strong team work spirit, DCC is a front runner as a manufacturer & supplier of Air

Distribution products.

DCC has a philosophy of manufacturing Air Distribution products with notion of providing

COMPUTERIZED DUCT MANUFACTURING

The duct manufacturing system is initiated through a software

program, made in United Kingdom, in which the sizes of

required ducts are fed on choosing respective fitting option

such as Elbow, Tee etc.

The software automatically calculates the required numbers

of sheets along with the labels for sketching on to the duct

blanks.

The plasma machine downloads the respective file created

for specific project and ducts fittings fed in the computer.

Each blank of ducting is tagging with gummed labels for

proper identification.


All duct fittings are cut on plasma cutting machine, a unique

computerized cutting system, which uses compressed air to

cut the metals sheets.

The high velocity jet of high temperature compressed air is

directed on to the sheet by means of plasma torch which

melts (hence cut) the sheet in to the required profile.


Coil line be called as “The mother machine” as it gives sheets

to plasma cutting machines & also manufactures standard

length straight in form of

- 1 piece wrap around duct

- L type ( 2 pieces) duct

- 4 piece duct

Depending upon the sizes & seam option of duct.

Rectangular ducts are fully folded and assembled for easy

and low cast installation. Automated machinery ensures

short delivery times and dimensionally accurate ducts.
