Jeff Osborn has gone on a lilting rampage and North s winning ball games.
Osborn clubbed four hits n six officials at buts last
week against Redondo to ead the Saxons to a pair of
7-3 and 3-1 Bay League vic- ories.
He broke open a 1-0 game Thursday with a long home run over the right field screen at Redondo's Memori al Field.
Osborn had 10 hi's in 18 :rips to the plate for the Bay ^eague campaign.

nox, 7-0. West High dropped back a notch by tying Lawn- dale, 4-4, in an 8-inning game at Lawndale.
West has a 3-0 record while El Segundo has in creased its winning streak to 'our games.
Dave LaRoche had Lawn- dale shut out until the bot tom of the sixth when he and relief pitcher Ron Sells gave up three runs. Sells was tagged for the tying run in the seventh frame.
West had taken a 4-0 lead with one in the first and third innings and two in the second frame.
West trades home games with Lennox this week, play ing at home on Tuesday.

Bill Nesenson was a Little League and Babe Ruth League president, manager, coach and an in spiration for hundreds of young ballplayers and their parents for the 10 years I knew him.
Bill's interest in the activities of his own son was rewarded with Gary's outstanding achieve ments in athletics and as president of the Califor nia Scholarship Society at Bishnp Montgomery High School.
Gary played halfback for the Knights and last fall highlighted his career by running back a kick- off 92 yards for a touchdown. He is currently con cluding his high school baseball career.
One of the founders of the Torrance National Little League where Gary first played baseball was Bill Nesenson. His \\ife, Kathlyn, and two daugh ters always helped make baseball a family activity.
Following his death on Wednesday, many friends from youth baseball and Bishop Montgom ery High attended the Rosary Friday evening and Funeral Mass for Bill Nesenson Saturday morning at Nativity Catholic Church in Torrance.
