PLUS Tutoring Tuesdays and Thursdays after school
FHS Q&A (5 min) In groups of two, turn to the person next
to you and brainstorm for one minute any questions about FHS that you still have unanswered.
You have 1 minute. At the end of the minute, one of you will
write 1 or 2 of your questions on the whiteboard.
Meet & Greet (20 min) Pass the Ball (< 5 min)
Get in a circle When the ball is thrown to you, tell the
group your name and where you went to middle school.
If you didn’t go to Fridley Middle School, be sure to tell the group in what area/town you went to middle school.
Meet & Greet: TPS Number off into 1s and 2s Fill out the questions on the sheet about
your partner. You have 3 minutes to fill out your sheet.
Meet & Greet: Two Truths, One Lie To learn a bit more about each other,
each of you are to write down two truths about yourself, as well as one lie.
For example: My two truths would be: 1) I grew up in Kansas; 2) My favorite sport is rock climbing. My lie would be: I love going to Mall of America. (I’ve never been to MOA.)
You have 2 minutes to write down your truths and lies.
Meet & Greet: Two Truths, One Lie You now have 5 minutes to mingle with
your classmates and try and find some information about their truths and lies.
After you’ve mingled, everyone will present their truths and lies, and the rest of us will try to pick out the lies.
Whoever picks out the most lies will win a prize.
