WHAT DOES IT REALLY LOOK LIKE???
I CORINTHIANS 9:1-18
SUMMARY OF CHRISTIAN LIBERTY PRINCIPLES:
• Do all to the glory of God
• Follow your own conscience, as guided by Scripture,
and allow others to do the same;
accept one another.
• Cause no stumbling.
SUMMARY OF CHRISTIAN LIBERTY PRINCIPLES:
• Give no offense
• Love and serve one another
• Do not be brought into bondage to anything.
• Choose the best...not just the “permitted.”
Paul said, “Be imitators of me,
just as I also am of Christ.”
Paul’ Purpose, 1-18:• First: establish the validity of his
apostleship, 1-2
• THEN: enumerate the privileges of his apostleship, 3-14
• THEN...he will demonstrate his loving use of his liberty to NOT use those privileges, 12-18.
