CONCEPT • Using 9 pendants and LEDSs, the purpose of these pendants are the

exploration of the diffusion of light in creating a private world and galaxy in each pendant. The pendants are meant to represent the 9 worlds of Norse mythology each representing different inhabitants as well as scenes particular to their wold. The pendants draw from inspiration from the Thor 1 and 2 cinematography and depiction of the 9 worlds. Using dyes, paints and mixed media on fabric encapsulated by a wooden frame and lit up by LEDs, the purpose is to capture the scene of the 9 worlds as well as lighting up the galaxy giving it life.

WORK PLAN• 1.Test LEDs and sensor, experiment with fabrics and wood• 2. Integrate LEDs and sensor together and build a working code basis,

work more with fabric and wood narrowing down the choices (decide on final dyes, medias and wood)

• 3.Have the code up and running (troubleshooting) and construct the final piece
