Coldplay Paradise

This is a medium shot of one of the band members in a elephant suit. The bars of the cage creates a framing view of the character. It starts

off with images of wild life free then jumps to this image. This shows that he is not in paradise.

This is a long shot of the elephant escaping and police officers chasing him, this is the start of the getting

back to paradise. The elephant in the foreground is more out of focus this makes you notice the officers

more as they are the reason for the chase

The bike is the main focus here which means that this is a shallow focus. This important to how the elephant escapes. The dark colour of the officers makes it easy

to see still. This is a close up on the bike but a long shot of the officers, this shows how much distance

there is between them.

After seeing the sign saying underground there is a tracking shot of the elephant running down into the train station. The bars here show that he is still not

free and is still not in paradise.

The camera here puts you in the perspective of the elephant, to show this it is a handheld camera. The

workman is central in the shot making him the focus of attention he is in front of the airplane which is

going to be the next means of escape.

The camera is a long shot showing the whole plain in flight. This is a good break in the music and is slower

paced. This shot backs up the fact that the elephant is getting closer to paradise.

This eye line match to the other elephants in the background shows he is near to paradise. Again a

shallow focus shows what is important to the camera shot.

A long shot shows the entire band dressed up as elephants and the reflection of the sun shows that he

has found paradise. The lens was concave to make what is in the middle bigger that what is on the

outside. The split between land and sky is halfway, which is the typical landscape shot.

This is the ending shot to the video and it is a long shot showing all of the band members live in concert .

This shows that paradise to the band is there career and the music that they make.
