Safety in Assembly During assembly of this aircraft, you will be asked to use sharp knives and hobby adhesives. Please follow all safety procedures recommended by the manufacturers of the products you use, and always follow these important guidelines: ALWAYS protect your eyes when working with adhesives, knives, or tools, especially power tools. Safety glasses are the best way to protect your eyes. ALWAYS protect your body, especially your hands and fingers when using adhesives, knives, or tools, especially power tools. Do not cut toward exposed skin with hobby knives. Do not place hobby knives on tables or benches where they can roll off or be knocked off. ALWAYS have a first-aid kit handy when working with adhesives, knives, or tools, especially power tools. ALWAYS keep hobby equipment and supplies out of the reach of children.

Safety in Flying This is NOT a toy! It is a very high-performance RC airplane capable of high speeds and extreme maneuvers. It should only be operated by a competent pilot in a safe area with proper supervision. ONLY fly your aircraft in a safe, open area, away from spectators and vehicles–and where it is legal to fly. NEVER fly over an unsafe area, such as a road or street. Never fly too close to yourself or spectators. Never run your motor inside a house or building with the propeller attached – Remove the prop for safety.

Section 1: Airframe Assembly Step1. As shown in the picture, place the fuselage on a work surface, and glue the wings to the fuselage.

Step2. Put some foam glue into the spar slot.

Step3. Press 650mm wing spar into the slot and use weights to keep it in position until the glue cures.

Step4. Glue two pivots to the horizontal fuselage.

Step5. Insert the 400mm rod into the pivot.

Step6. Put some foam safe glue into the stab’s slot.

Step7. Fit the 400mm rod into the stabilizer, weight it down until the glue cures.

Step8. Use a hobby knife to cut a slight slot for control horn on the marked location.

Step9. Glue the control horn into the slot.

Step10. Glue the rudder servo into the fuselage.

Step11. Slide the horizontal fuselage into the vertical fuselage. Align the tabs from the vertical fuselage into the slots in the horizontal fuselage. Adjust the vertical fuselage to make it in the center line of the horizontal fuselage.

Step12. Install the elevator servo onto the fuselage.

Step13. Install the aileron servo onto the fuselage.

Step14. As shown, prepare three assembled servo arms.

Step15. Install the servo arm onto the servo.

Step16. Use a square and foam glue to glue the vertical fuselage and horizontal fuselage pieces together. Start at the front and slowly work your way toward the rear of the fuselage, gluing small sections at a time.

Step17. Glue the elevator control horn onto the stabilizer.

Step18. Use a knife to cut a 45 degree bevel on the glue edges of the zigzag. Position the zigzag onto the fuselage as shown. Start to glue it at the tail and work your way slowly toward the front of the fuselage.

Step19. Glue two side wings on to the main wing.

Section 2: Servos Linkage Installation

Step1. Use a hobby knife to cut a slight slot for the rudder control horn on the rudder.

Step2. Glue the control into the slot.

Step3. Insert the guides into the horizontal fuselage for the elevator servo pushrod.

Step4. Insert the guides into the vertical fuselage for the rudder servo pushrod.

Step5. Slide two pushrods into the guides.

Step6. Attach the z-bend to the elevator horn.

Step7. Slide a shrink tubing to the pushrod wire. Use a soldering iron to shrink the tubing to connect the pushrod and the control horn.

Step8. With the elevator control surface centered, cut the excess pushrod.

Step9. Attach the z-bend to the servo arm. With the elevator control surface centered, use a soldering iron to shrink the tubing to connect the pushrod and the servo.

Step10. Use the same method to install the rudder servo linkage.

Step11. Install the aileron servo linkage using the same method.

Section 3: Motor Installation

Step1. Glue the motor mount to the fuselage.

Step2. Install a 2206 motor to the motor mount

Step3. Attach a 8in prop to the motor.

Section 4: Landing Gear Installation

Step1. Glue the rectangle part into the slot on the fuselage.

Step2. Glue two 210mm rods into the fuselage as shown.

Step3. Use thin CA to quick glue the two round parts into the landing gear wires. Then use foam glue to glue two black pants onto the landing gear.

Step4. Install the battery, ESC and receiver as shown.

Section5: Set up CG and control throw The recommended CG is 218mm (8.6in) from the nose of the fuselage.
