Thriller Why I chose thriller as my genre, is

because my target audients is young people.

mostly teenagers, and I believe with a bit of research, that the majority of the young adults I interviewed, said they enjoy watching thriller films the most.

they said they are meanly predictable, and thriller has a wide range of ways to cause enigma, throughout the film.

Conventions of Thriller

Thriller films are unsettling films designed to: Frighten and panic Cause dread and alarm Often conclude in a terrifying shocking ending .

The things that are in thriller films, to do so are: Low key lighting mirror, shadows tension music quick cuts flashbacks black and white

I find this scene inspiring, as I think it courses a lot of tension when it goes dark, as we don’t know, whose going to die next, and who the killer is-I believe courses enigma

I find this film is inspiring, as the theme of the whole film is revenge (some as mine) and that she would go to any limit to get her revenge

Why this film inspiring to me, is because, the theme of this film is revenge as well, but also, the way the day would do anything for his daughter, is very sweet, and I would like, the old lady in my film to show that she has that same chemistry with her son,. That she would kill someone for him.

Sadness: someone brings unhappiness to another person, and feels like making them feel the same pain

What's going to happen then the film

Girl has a boy friend, the who she splits up with , because she starts to fall’s in love with another man.

Girls ex boy-friends mother gets very angry, and decides to kill her.

So she kidnap's her, while girl was on her way home, from her new boy friends house.

Ex-boyfriends mother kidnaps her to house, and into a bath, filled with water (with her cloths on).mother asks the girl a question, and she says, if she gets the question wrong, she will kills her (she has on life)

Girl gets the question wrong, and ex boyfriends mother drowns her (she dies)

What you will see, in the opening sequence

Girl walking through a quiet road She hears stuff, and starts to get scared We see her boyfriends jacket that she was

wearing on the floor There is know sign of her We she a car driving off

The characters in the film Main girl-looks quiet and shy, but we find out that it is not all looks, as we find out that, she cheated on her ex boyfriend.-Props: The cloths she wears is, sort of reveling, as she is wearing a short

skirt, and a low cut top. (boyfriends jacket as well)–Body language: Frightened, Scared, and Lonely

Ex boyfriends sister that drags the girl in the car. Looks aggressive, as she is the one who, drags the girl into the car.

-Props: Black jacket, with a black hat (blacked out, to hide her identity)-Body language: aggressive, and harsh, the way she manhandles the girl. Ex boyfriends mother the mother is a cold hearted women, as she is the

one that kills the girl at the end.-Props: black big jacket, white gloves.-Body language: old and tired, the way she stands is like she is straggling to

stand, but at the same time very happy that see the girl, because she had her, exactly were she wanted her

How I'm going to create enigma in my opening sequence

The sort of music: Have fast music to make it tense

The sharp cuts : Straight after we see something unexpected, I’ll have a sharp cut there

Quick shots: show some something unpredicted when done so
