  • HR Inventory means a list of personnel and their background. HRIS contributes to the development of HR inventory for HRP. The information required for HR Inventory is collected from job applications, and questionnaires filled by employees from time to time. Information is obtained both for individual employees as well as groups of employees. The type of information included depends upon its uses which include career and succession planning, training, transfer and promotion decisions, organizational analysis etc.
