Set either on the beach surrounded by the natural vegetation, or over the water with views across the ocean, each one bedroom villa blends colonial sophistication with contemporary style. Teak and dark wood sits comfortably alongside the cream Italian marble highlighted by a serene and calming palate.

The land villa boasts a large living room with elegant teak and rattan furniture, cooled by ceiling fan or air conditioning while water villa has an open-fronted lounge. Both lead to a private deck with sun loungers and beach umbrella.

The bedroom is elegantly furnished with wooden shutters and a king-size, carved, wooden bed, centrally positioned to take advantage of the views over the beach and ocean. Air-conditioning, overhead fan, 40 inch plasma TV, DVD player, direct dial telephone, internet connection, personal safe, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer all come as standard.

The spacious, marble-floored bathroom features a separate toilet, double hand basin, stand-alone bath and separate shower cabin. An additional “rain-shower” is located outside. Bathrobes, slippers and luxury amenities are provided.

Set on the beach or directly over the water, the two-bedroom villas are perfect for families or two couples travelling together. Furnished in the same sophisticated style as the one bedroom villas, the central living area and master suite are similar to the Beach Villa categories. The additional bedroom features either twin or king-size beds overlooking the beach, with sliding, glass doors leading onto the deck and pool area (pool size: 5 m x 8.5 m, depth 1.2 m). The en-suite bathroom features a separate toilet, bath, shower cabin and a double hand basin, together with an additional outdoor shower.

Transfers to The Residence MaldivesThe resort provides a personal representative to meet every guest at Male International Airport who then escorts them to the domestic terminal for check-in and then to the Island Aviation Lounge, where complimentary refreshments and snacks are offered. The flight to Kaadedhdhoo takes only 55 minutes. Upon arrival at Kaadedhdhoo, guests are welcomed and escorted to the nearby jetty for a 60 minute speedboat transfer to the resort, during which refreshments and sliced fresh fruits are served.

Direct transfers to the hotel are also available by sea-plane which takes just 90 minutes to Falhumaafushi.

NB. Due to the limited number of sea planes this service is subject to availability. Cost and bookings can be obtained from the hotel directly.

Useful InformationThe climate is warm and tropical. There is a dry season from December to May and a “wet” season, from June to November with a lot of sunshine and a few showers.

Temperature ranges between 25 to 35 degrees Celsius peaking in May.
