SAFETY FIRSTSafety is our number one priority! Pro-Cam continually fosters a culture of safety across our entire operation, our certified personnel, and the equipment we operate and maintain.
The Heavy Lifter LiPo battery kits must ship with special handling via FedEx Air Overnight. The UAS and peripheral equipment cases may ship as checked “media bags” on the airline with traveling personnel.

PERSONNEL
UAS emergency system features include Return to Home, auto land, and ballistic parachute
Black box data and FPV camera recorder capture flight information for pilot review and improvement
Ground Control Station (GCS) provides better piloting controls and navigation capabilities
Each locked case carries a GPS tracker so that gear isn’t lost in transit
Digital logging system tracks all flight data, weather, personnel, and maintenance records
Extensive experience requirements with a rigorous qualifications review process
Detailed policies, standards, and procedures incorporated in to flight SOP checklists
Four stage written and practical training for certification, then annual training and reviews
ISO 9001:2015 accreditation in progress for Quality and Safety Management
Thorough preflight mission planning including weather, location, and risk mitigation strategy
Heavy Lifter LiPo batteries are packed to ship via Air Cargo, and multiple kits are located at 8 locations

GROUND CONTROL
We arrive on set ready with enough battery power for nearly an hour (50 minutes) of flight time, which usually covers most shoot days.
With our state-of-the-art rapid charging system and two standard 110V AC 15-amp circuits we can recharge 4 batteries in 40 minutes or 8 batteries in 66 minutes. In addition, the system monitors individual battery cells so we know if there is a problem before we get in the air.
RAPID BATTERY CHARGING
Our cutting-edge custom designed Ground Control Station (GCS) sets a new standard in UAS flight safety.
Unlike our competitors and their RC controllers, the GCS has superior capabilities and precision
controls that cinema clients expect on a film set, such as built in transmitters and
receivers; throttle and flight stick for our FAA-licensed pilots; a fly-by-wire navigation computer that can autonomously fly the UAS with preset mission waypoints; FPV camera controls
and monitoring; aerial shot reference monitoring; redundant
power; and emergency fail safe systems that can deploy the emergency parachute, bring the
aircraft back to the landing zone in the event of a signal disconnect, and auto land the UAS.
