Her experience from two previous Olympics in London and Sochi has brought her some special friendships with athletes Missy Franklin and Mikaela Shiffrin. ANGELICA DANEO “Glory of Venice” Masterworks/the Renaissance - DAM Curator of Painting & SculptureMONDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2016 This upcoming glorious show is being co-curated with Dr. Giovanna Damiani of Venice, Italy. Learn from Angelica how the Masters, whose sensitivity to color and light remained unparalleled for centuries, veered from traditional techniques and began using oil paint to experiment with depth, emotion and dimension. The exhibition is available at the DAM between October 2, 2016 and February 12, 2017. The 45 works of art assembled will feature 22 pieces direct from Venice and will include paintings by Carpaccio, Titian, Bellini and Conegliano, to name a few. Following Angelica’s masterful talk, you can be a knowledgeable master, yourself!
