Ms Kaye is the rst to focus on what happened when tiny wooden boats rolled away through the forbidding sea, staring up at the mightiest ship ever made while failing to heed desperate warnings. Elizabeth’s small and mighty book reached both the Amazon and NY Times Best Seller’s lists. ANGELICA DANEO “Glory of Venice” Masterworks/the Renaissance - DAM Curator of Painting & Sculpture MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2016 This upcoming glorious show is being co-curated with Dr. Giovanna Damiani of Venice, Italy. Learn from Angelica how the Masters, whose sensitivity to color and light remained unparalleled for centuries, veered from traditional techniques and began using oil paint to experiment with depth, emotion and dimension. The exhibition is available at the DAM between October 2, 2016 and February 12, 2017. The 45 works of art assembled will feature 22 pieces direct from Venice and will include paintings by Carpaccio, Titian, Bellini and Conegliano, to name a few. Following Angelica’s masterful talk, you can be a knowledgeable master, yourself!
