MUFFIN IS READY! The exciting, funny, warm,

story of how to learn to

plan a trip or an event

3) Divide troop into groups of 4-6 give each

group a marker, tape, and about 20 pieces of

paper. The top piece should have MUFFIN IS

READY written on it.

5) BUT they are hungry for a muffin with butter

& jam. A commercial is coming and they have

only the time of the 3 min. commercial to toast,

butter, and jam the muffin and get

back to the show!

7) Then have themput them in the right order : Toast Butter Jam Oops!

And NEXT:Slices Toast Butter Jam

9) REMEMBER - give them

instructions 6,7,& 8 after 5. Make sure

everybody understands what is

supposed to happen before you give

the signal.

11) Gather the troop in a circle.

Repeat the game together

only use Our trip happens

instead of MUFFIN IS READY

a) Have them call out the stepsyou write them

down. Discuss if any are missing.

b) Have them suggest the order in which they

must happen. You tape them up.

c) Now look at what must happen, in order,

before you can have a trip or event!

d) Who will be in charge of which step? Are

they in the right order?

or the event and masking tape __

before planning

4) Tell the troop (each group) that they should

imagine they

are watching their very

favorite t.v. program

and it is really exciting

6) Now when you give the signal, have each

groupa) write down each step

b) each on a separate piece of paper)

to get the muffin ready.

8) d) tape them in order, on wall

e) the last sheet should be-

MUFFIN IS READY!

f) have them shout MUFFIN IS READY

when they are done!

10) When each group is done have the whole

troop look at each groups MUFFIN.

Discuss:

a) what steps are missing?b) are any out of order?

12) Turn this page over. You may now want

to use event/trip sheets or have the girls designone.

event!
