Peace and Paws co-founder Melissa Hannon has had remarkable success using the notion that people would rather laugh than cry. Tens of thousands of social media fans engage with her dogs Giddy, Twinkle and Nugget through posts like “Monday Morning Staff Meeting” and “Windowsill Wars.” The resulting smiles and shares have gained the organization a Facebook following of over half a million animal lovers and resulted in the adoption of over 3,000 shelter dogs.

The Judith Svalander Dance Theatre returns to the stage for “An Evening of Dance”! Mixing contemporary, classical and character

styles, you are sure to find a new favorite piece. Don’t miss the surprising ending of “Call Me Eduardo”, a contemporary story ballet. Share in the story of a young, gypsy heroine in “Paquita”, a classical ballet. You will be smiling and tapping your toes throughout “Austrian Suite”, a character piece full of upbeat and charming choreography! Join us as we light up the stage!

From the powerful guitar duel in “Hotel California” to the shimmering harmonies of “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” Heartache Tonight delivers a true Eagles concert experience. A Heartache Tonight concert is filled with moments designed to thrill classic rock fans: the soaring acapella harmonies of “Seven Bridges Road,” the snarling guitars of “Life in the Fast Lane,” the authentic country rock of “Take it Easy,” and the beautifully evocative “Heart of the Matter.” Close your eyes and you’ll swear your hearing the real thing.

Come join us for Leo Kottke’s 32nd appearance on the Woodstock Opera House stage. Leo Kottke is an extraordinary acoustic guitarist, widely known for his innovative finger-picking style, which draws on influences from blues, jazz, and folk music, and his syncopated, polyphonic melodies. Kottke is a five-time winner of Guitar Players Magazine’s award for best instrumentalist. Legendary Guitarist Leo Kottke – the most inventive finger-style guitar player in the world – will amaze you once again!

The Miss Woodstock Pageant is sponsored annually by the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This is the 70th year for the pageant, proof of its stature in the community. Miss Woodstock must demonstrate true commitment and grace as she represents the City of Woodstock and the Woodstock Chamber at many community events throughout her year of reign.

Formed in 1981 by percussionist Mike Schwimmer and pianist/arranger Joan Reynolds, the band specializes in ragtime for the 7-piece jazz band format and their concerts present a potpourri of musical Americana, straight from the roots of our animated musical heritage - ragtime, blues, and jazz, as well as pop selections from the 1920’s thru the 1930’s. Violinist Will Ejzak-Reynolds will join pianist Joan Reynolds for some piano/violin duets during the program.

Inspired by the classic comedy film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur’s quest to find

the Holy Grail. Spamalot features all the shenanigans you would expect from Monty Python including a line of beautiful dancing

girls, flatulent Frenchmen, and killer rabbits. Throughout the show, Arthur, traveling with his servant Patsy, recruits several knights to

accompany him on his quest. They meet such characters as the Lady of the Lake, Prince Herbert, Tim the Enchanter, Not Dead Fred, the

Black Knight, and of course, the Knights who say Ni.
