From the Pastor’s Desk Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

I direct my most sincere gratitude to the following donors for their support of the church’s main door canopy project: Heels on Fire, Zofia and Jan Stopka, Aniela Landowski, Maria, Edward and Marcin Grela, Association Guadalupana and the St.Albert's Seniors Club. I encourage all the people of a goodwill, parishioners and those praying in our church to engage in this necessary and great project. I also thank Louis and Caroline Viverito, Janinie Hornik and Maria Radwanska for their support of our parish and the St. Albert the Great School. Parish Advent Confession in English are scheduled for Monday, December 16th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. I invite all of our parishioners and those who come to pray in our church to take advantage of this sacrament offered to us by our loving God. At the same time I would like to thank all the visiting priests who will help us with confessions. Please, remember, on December 19th (Thursday) at 7:00 pm we will have a concert of Polish patriotic songs and Christmas carols performed by the world-famous dance song band "Śląsk". Tickets ($40 each) can be purchased after Sunday Mass in the sacristy and during the week at the parish office. I encourage you to attend this concert, especially families with children, Polish schools, teachers, parishioners and our parish guests. It is definitely worth to attend this concert as a way to prepare for Christmas. I also invite you to participate in the Parish New Year's Eve Dance (Tuesday) December 31st at 7:00 pm in Rogers Hall. For tickets and more information, please conact the parish office. Tickets may be purchased in the sacristy or the parish office. Let us stay together during this special liturgical season.

Sharing Tree 2019

Dear Parishioners, Our Christmas Sharing Trees are in the church vestibule. These trees have tags that include whatever information was given to the committee. As in previous years we are collecting gifts for Visitation School in

Chicago as well as our St. Vincent DePaul Society. There are also tags with envelopes available for monetary donations to our St. Vincent DePaul Society, any/all amounts are greatly appreciated. These envelopes can be put into the Sunday

collection baskets or brought in on the 15th. Please remember to tape the name tag to the outside of the package and return it on the day specified to enable time to sort and pack. In your generosity please limit the number of tags to one per family so

Dziękuję kolejnym sponsorom budowy w przyszłym roku zadaszenia nad głównym wejściem do kościoła: Heels on Fire, Zofia i Jan Stopka, Aniela Landowski, Maria, Edward i Marcin Grela, Asosiacion Guadalupana, St. Albert’s Senior Club. Zachęcam wszystkich ludzi dobrej woli, parafian i modlących się w naszym kościele do zaangażowania się w to konieczne i wielkie dzieło. Dziękuję także Louis i Caroline Viverito. Od przyszłej niedzieli 15 grudnia aż do środy 18 grudnia zapraszam wszystkich do udziału w Adwentowych Parafialnych Rekolekcjach. Nauki rekolekcyjne będą głoszone w czasie niedzielnych Mszy Świętych oraz w poniedzialek, wtorek i środę o godz. 11:00 rano i o godz. 7:00 wieczorem. rekolekcje prowadzić będzie ks. Misjonarz z Brazyli Piotr Pochopień.

Pamiętajmy że 19 grudnia (czwartek) o godz. 7:00 wieczorem odbędzie się w naszym kościele wyjątkowy koncert pieśni patriotycznych i kolęd w wykonaniu znanego na całym świecie zespołu pieśni tańca „Śląsk”. Bilety w cenie 40 $ możemy zakupić po niedzielnych Mszach w przedsionku kościoła oraz w tygodniu w kancelarii parafialnej. Z całego serca was zachęcam do udziału w koncercie. Zachęcam rodziny z dziećmi, polskie szkoły, nauczycieli, parafian i gości. Na pewno w ten wieczór warto być razem i również w ten sposób przygotować się do świąt Bożego Narodzenia.

Zachęcam także do udziału w Parafialnej Zabawie Sylwestrowej w sali pod kościołem. Szczegóły zabawy znajdziemy w biuletynie parafialnym oraz na plakatach. Bilety możemy także zakupić w przedsionku kościoła lub w kancelarii parafialnej. Bądźmy razem!
