Your complete satisfaction with yourHonda automobile is our main goal.All personnel at Honda automobiledealerships are thoroughly trained toprovide the best service for yourvehicle. If you are not satisfied withany maintenance or repair workdone by the dealership, follow thesethree steps:Step 1 - Talk over your concerns withthe dealership's management, such asthe service manager or generalmanager. In most cases, a satisfactorysolution is found at this step.Step 2 -We recognize that, on someoccasions, a customer will not betotally satisfied with a dealer'sdecision or actions in Step 1. If thisis the case, you should call or writeHonda Automobile CustomerService. The address and telephonenumber are on the inside front coverof this booklet.

Please provide the followinginformation:• Year, model, and Vehicle

Identification Number (VIN) ofyour vehicle, and its currentmileage;

• The name of the dealer who soldyou the vehicle;

• The name of the dealer whoservices your vehicle;

• Date, mileage, and reason foreach visit to a Honda dealership;

• Any non-Honda dealership repairservice for the problem(s); and

• Your daytime and eveningtelephone numbers.

The staff of Honda AutomobileCustomer Service is interested inworking with you and the dealershipto find a satisfactory solution.

Step 3 - If you disagree with thedecision reached by the staff ofHonda Automobile CustomerService, you may request to haveyour case reviewed in anindependent forum run by theNational Center for DisputeSettlement (NCDS). You may file aclaim at any time by calling NCDStoll-free at 877-545-0055.

The purpose of NCDS is to resolvedisputes between vehiclemanufacturers and their customers.NCDS's decision makers areimpartial third parties who will listento both the customer and themanufacturer and decide what canbe done to resolve the disagreement.

NCDS's decision is not binding onyou unless you agree to accept it. Ifyou accept the decision, Honda willabide by it. Generally, disputessubmitted to NCDS are resolvedwithin 40 days (47 days if you havenot first contacted Honda about yourcomplaint).

Honda offers you the opportunity tomediate and arbitrate a disagreementthrough NCDS because we want youto feel that you have been treatedfairly.

Eligibility is limited by yourvehicle's age, mileage, and otherfactors. In order to file a claim, youneed to provide your name andaddress, the Vehicle IdentificationNumber (VIN) of your vehicle, anda brief statement outlining thedisagreement. Initially, NCDS maytry to resolve the disagreementthrough mediation. If this is notsuccessful, your complaint will bereviewed by an impartial arbitrator.You may present the facts of yourcase to the arbitrator at an informalmeeting.

We encourage you to use thisprogram before, or instead of, goingto court. It is informal, free of chargeto you, and generally resolvesproblems much faster than the courtsystem. Lawyers are usually notinvolved in the resolution of claimsthrough NCDS, although you mayobtain one at your own expense ifyou choose.

If you want to go to court, Hondadoes not require you to first file aclaim with NCDS. Please note thatlaws in some states may require thatyou file a claim with NCDS beforeyou can proceed to a state-operateddispute resolution process or thecourt system. If you do not acceptthe decision of NCDS, you can stillgo to court.

Lemon LawsMany states have enacted what arecommonly referred to as “LemonLaws.” Although the details of theselaws vary from state to state, theirmain purpose is to assure you certainrights if you have problems withyour new vehicle. In general terms,these laws usually say that if yournew vehicle has a problem thatcannot be repaired in severalattempts, or has a series of problemsthat keep it out of service for anextended period, you may qualify forrelief under the lemon law in yourstate.

Some states require you to notify themanufacturer about the problem(s),and some states give the manufacturer,or its representative, a chance tocorrect the problem(s). A state mayrequire you to submit yourcomplaint to a dispute resolutionprogram, such as NCDS, beforeproceeding to other forums.Lemon laws have many provisions.If you feel your new Honda qualifiesfor consideration under the lemonlaw in your area, we suggest youcheck the laws in your state.

Honda may cover, on a case-by-casebasis, some or all of the cost torepair a problem that is not coveredby your vehicle's limited warranties.

If your vehicle develops a problemyou feel should be repaired byHonda at no cost, discuss it withyour dealer.

If you are not satisfied with yourHonda automobile dealer's decision,call or write Honda AutomobileCustomer Service (the address andtelephone number are on the insidefront cover of this booklet).

Please provide this informationabout your vehicle: year, model,Vehicle Identification Number(VIN), mileage, maintenance history,a detailed explanation of theproblem, and why you think Hondashould be responsible for the repair.Your request will be investigated,and you will be informed of Honda'sdecision.

Sometimes Honda offers a specialadjustment program to pay all orpart of the cost of certain repairsbeyond the terms of the warranty.Check with your dealer to determinewhether any adjustment program isapplicable to your motor vehicle.

General Warranty Provisions

The warranty coverages in this bookletare offered only to the owner or lesseeof a 2017 Honda automobile. To becovered, the vehicle must bedistributed by American Hondathrough the Honda AutomobileDivision, and sold or leased by aHonda automobile dealer in the UnitedStates, Puerto Rico, the U.S. VirginIslands, Guam, and theCommonwealth of the NorthernMariana Islands.Parts replaced under any of thewarranties in this booklet become theproperty of Honda. Honda will makethe final decision whether to repairany existing part or assembly orreplace it.Honda may use factory-remanufactured parts rather than newparts for some warranty repairs. Thoseparts, like new parts, are covered forthe remainder of the New VehicleLimited Warranty (see page 9).

The warranties in this booklet do notcover:• The failure of any part or accessory

due to:- Abuse, misuse, accidental

damage, or acts of nature.- Improper installation or

maintenance.- A low fluid level or the use of

a fluid other than specified byHonda.

- The installation of any part thatis not equal to the original inquality of materials orworkmanship.

- Use of the vehicle in competitionor racing events.

• Any installed part or accessory thatfails because it was not designed tofit that year and model of Hondaautomobile.

• Any vehicle with an odometer thathas been altered so it is impossibleto determine the actual mileage.

• Any vehicle while it is registered ornormally driven outside of theUnited States, Puerto Rico, the U.S.Virgin Islands, Guam, and theCommonwealth of the NorthernMariana Islands.

• Any failure caused by modifyingthe vehicle, or installing accessoriesnot authorized by Honda.

• Any incidental expenses orinconvenience incurred due to theloss of use of your vehicle.

• Any vehicle that has ever beendeclared a total loss or sold forsalvage by a financial institution orinsurer, or that has been issued a“salvage” or similar title under anystate's law. This exclusion does notapply to the Emissions Warranties,the Seat Belt Limited Warranty, theReplacement Parts LimitedWarranty, or any recalls or othercampaigns.

Time and Mileage PeriodThis warranty begins on the date thevehicle is put into use in one of thefollowing ways:• The vehicle is delivered to the

first purchaser by a Hondaautomobile dealer.

• The vehicle is leased.• The vehicle is used as a

demonstrator or company vehicle.Your vehicle is covered for 3 yearsor 36,000 miles, whichever comesfirst. Some parts may have separatecoverage under other warrantiesdescribed in this book.Warranty CoverageHonda will repair or replace any partthat is defective in material orworkmanship under normal use. SeeProper Operation on page 35. Allrepairs/replacements made under thiswarranty are free of charge. Thereplaced or repaired parts arecovered only until this New VehicleLimited Warranty expires.

This New Vehicle LimitedWarranty Does Not Cover:• Normal wear or deterioration of

any part.• Cleaning and polishing.• The adding of any fluids, unless

they are needed as part of awarranty repair.

• Broken, chipped, or scratchedwindow glass unless it is due to adefect in material orworkmanship.

• Any item concerning yourvehicle's general appearance thatis not due to a defect in materialor workmanship. Cosmetic flawsor minor damage to the body,paint, or other items may occurduring manufacture or shipping ofyour vehicle. If you find anyuncorrected flaws or damage onyour new vehicle, notify thedealer as soon as possible afterdelivery.

• Expendable maintenance items(such as filters, or brake pads/linings) when replaced due tonormal wear or customer abuse.Limited Warranty Coverage• Original equipment batteries for key

fobs and remotes are covered forthe first 6 months of ownership.

• Original equipment wiper bladeinserts are covered for the first 6months of ownership.

• Wheel balancing and wheelalignment are covered for the firstyear or 12,000 miles, whichevercomes first, unless required as partof a warranty repair.

• Air conditioner refrigerant iscovered for the first 2 years or24,000 miles, whichever comesfirst, unless required as part of awarranty repair.

EngineCylinder block and head and allinternal parts, timing gears andgaskets, timing chain/belt and cover,flywheel, valve covers, oil pan, oilpump, intake and exhaust manifolds,engine mounts, engine/powertraincontrol module, water pump, fuelpump, seals and gaskets.

Transmission and TransaxleCase and all internal parts, torqueconverter, transfer case and allinternal parts, transmission/powertrain control module, seals and gaskets.

Front-Wheel-Drive SystemFinal drive housing and all internalparts, driveshafts, constant velocityjoints, front hubs and bearings, sealsand gaskets.

Honda will not deny a claim foremissions warranty coveragebecause you did not generallymaintain the vehicle, or do not havemaintenance records to show thatyou did.

However, any part that fails as aresult of abuse, misuse, unapprovedmodification, use of improper parts,or failure to perform requiredmaintenance affecting the failed partwill not be covered under thiswarranty.

Honda recommends that only partssupplied by Honda or equivalentparts be used to repair your vehicle.Maintenance, replacement, orrepair of emissions control devicesand systems may be done by anyautomotive repair establishment orindividual.

Under normal circumstances, Hondawill pay for warranty repairs onlywhen they are performed at anauthorized Honda repair facility.However, in an emergency situation,the repair of emissions controldevices or systems may be done byany automotive repair establishmentor individual, or by the owner, usingan equivalent, non-Hondareplacement part. An emergencysituation is considered to exist if anauthorized Honda repair facility isnot reasonably available, when awarranted part is not available within30 days, or when an authorizedHonda repair facility is unable tocomplete a repair within 30 days.

Honda will reimburse you for thoseemergency repairs, includingdiagnosis, that are covered by theEmissions Warranties. Partsreimbursement is at themanufacturer's suggested retail price,

and labor reimbursement is at ageographically-appropriate hourlylabor rate for Honda's recommendedtime allowance. For reimbursement,present the replaced part(s) and acopy of the paid receipt to anyauthorized Honda automobile dealer.

The use of replacement parts notequivalent to the original parts mayimpair the effectiveness of yourvehicle's emissions control systems.If a non-equivalent replacement partis used in the maintenance or repairof your vehicle, and if an authorizedHonda automobile dealer determinesit is defective or causes a failure of awarranted part, your claim for repairto bring your vehicle into compliancewith applicable standards may bedenied. However, a warranty claimwill not be denied if a vehicle failsto meet emissions standards forreasons unrelated to the use of anon-equivalent replacement part.

Your Warranty Rights and ObligationsThe California Air Resources Boardand Honda are pleased to explain theemissions control systems warrantieson your 2017 Honda vehicle. InCalifornia, new motor vehicles mustbe designed, built, and equipped tomeet the state's stringent anti-smogstandards. Honda must warrant theemissions control systems on yourvehicle for the periods of time listedhere provided there has been no abuse,neglect, or improper maintenance ofyour vehicle.

Your emissions control systems mayinclude parts such as the carburetor orfuel injection system, the ignitionsystem, catalytic converter, and enginecomputer. Also included may behoses, belts, connectors, and otheremissions-related assemblies.

Where a warrantable condition exists,Honda will repair your vehicle at no

cost to you, including diagnosis, parts,and labor.

Manufacturer's WarrantyCoverageFor 3 years or 50,000 miles*,whichever occurs first:• If your vehicle fails a Smog Check

inspection, all necessary repairs andadjustments will be made by Hondato ensure that your vehicle passesthe inspection. This is youremissions control systems'PERFORMANCE WARRANTY.

For 7 years or 70,000 miles,whichever comes first: If an emissions-related part in thesupplied list that is specially notedwith coverage for 7 years or 70,000miles is defective, the part will berepaired or replaced by Honda. Thisis your long-term emissions controlsystems' DEFECTS WARRANTY.Refer to the emissions parts list atthe back of this booklet forinformation on the warranty durationof the systems that receive extendedcoverage.

Owner's/Lessee’s WarrantyResponsibilitiesAs the vehicle owner or lessee, youare responsible for the performanceof the required maintenance listed inyour owner's manual. Hondarecommends that you retain allreceipts covering maintenance onyour vehicle, but Honda cannot deny

warranty solely for the lack ofreceipts or for your failure to ensurethe performance of all scheduledmaintenance.You are responsible for bringingyour vehicle to a Honda automobiledealer as soon as a problem exists.The warranty repairs should becompleted in a reasonable amount oftime, not to exceed 30 days.

Seat Belt Limited Warranty

While seat belts cannot completelyremove the possibility of injury, theydo provide a very significant level ofprotection when used properly.Honda believes the best way toenhance your safety is to use yourseat belt. To encourage their use, theseat belts should always be in goodoperating condition.

Time PeriodThis warranty’s coverage begins onthe same date as the New VehicleLimited Warranty (see page 9), andcontinues for 15 years or 150,000miles, whichever comes first.

Warranty CoverageHonda will, at its option, repair orreplace any Honda seat beltcomponent that fails to functionproperly during normal use. Thisincludes all parts and labor charges.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:• Replacement of a properly-

functioning seat belt assemblystrictly for cosmetic or comfortreasons.

• Failure caused by abuse,alteration, accidental damage,misuse, or malfunction resultingfrom a collision.

• Components of the SupplementalRestraint System (SRS - frontairbag) that interact with, or actupon, the vehicle's seat belts (suchas, but not limited to, the latchsensor, the belt pretensioners, orthe ECU). These components arecovered under the New VehicleLimited Warranty.

Rust Perforation Limited Warranty

Only the vehicle’s original owner orlessee can make a claim under thiswarranty. Coverage cannot betransferred to any other person orinstitution (such as an insurancecompany).

Time and Mileage PeriodThis warranty’s coverage begins onthe same date as the New VehicleLimited Warranty (see page 9), andcontinues for 5 years with nomileage limit. Any body panelsrepaired or replaced under thiswarranty are covered only for thetime remaining in the original 5 years of coverage.

Warranty CoverageHonda will repair or replace anyoriginal body panel that rustscompletely through from the insideout (perforated by corrosion). This

includes panels previously repairedor replaced under this warranty.Rust that does not perforate, but iscaused by a defect in material orworkmanship, is covered under theNew Vehicle Limited Warranty. Youwill not be charged for any parts,material, or labor under thiswarranty. The decision to repair,rather than replace, any rusted bodypanel will be made by Honda.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:• Surface rust on the underbody or

any other part of the vehicleexcept body panels.

• Rusting of body panels that wererepaired, replaced, or refinishedafter retail sale of the vehicle,unless those panels were repairedor replaced under this warranty.

• Body panel rust caused by abuse,misuse, or lack of maintenance.

• Rusting where the paint has beendamaged by road hazards such asstones or debris.

• Rust caused by immersion of thebody panel in water, mud, or sand;or resulting from exposure tocorrosive gas or industrial fallout.

• Paint matching. Honda reservesthe right to decide how much ofthe repaired or replaced panel, andany adjoining body panels, needto be repainted to match theoriginal finish. Honda will not,under any circumstances,authorize painting the entirevehicle strictly for the purpose ofpaint matching.

Accessories Installed by a HondaAutomobile Dealer After RetailSale: This warranty begins on thedate the accessory is installed on thevehicle. All accessories are coveredfor the longer of the following twoperiods:1) the time remaining in the New

Vehicle Limited Warranty,or

2) one year.Accessories Not Installed by aHonda Automobile Dealer: Thiswarranty begins on the date theaccessory is purchased from aHonda automobile dealer. Allaccessories are covered for 1 year.

Warranty CoverageHonda will repair or replace anyHonda accessory distributed byAmerican Honda that is defective inmaterial or workmanship undernormal use. Honda will decide if anaccessory will be repaired ratherthan replaced. If the accessory wasinstalled by a Honda automobiledealer, all parts and labor costs arecovered. Accessory Limited Warranty

Audio and Video ComponentExchange ProgramIf the dealer-installed audio and/orvideo component in your Hondadevelops a problem during thiswarranty period, visit your Hondaautomobile dealer. The serviceperson will ask you severalquestions about your vehicle and theproblem. With this information, theproper diagnosis can be performedto determine if there is a problemwith the audio or video component.If a problem is found duringdiagnosis, your Honda automobiledealer will order a replacementcomponent. When your Hondaautomobile dealer receives thecomponent (which normally takesless than a week), you will benotified to bring your vehicle to thedealership so that the audio or videocomponent can be replaced.

Honda may use factory-remanufactured audio or videocomponents, rather than newcomponents, for some warrantyrepairs. Those components, like newcomponents, are covered for theremainder of the Accessory LimitedWarranty.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:• Honda accessories that were

designed for a different model ormodel year than the vehicle onwhich they were installed.

• Any accessory that is improperlyinstalled.

• Any claim presented withoutproof of accessory purchaseand/or installation date andvehicle mileage at time ofinstallation.

• The cost of labor to repair orreplace any accessory that was notoriginally installed by a Hondaautomobile dealer.

Replacement/Remanufactured Parts Limited Warranty

This warranty, unless changed byAmerican Honda in a documentprovided to you prior to yourpurchase of a replacement orremanufactured part for your 2017vehicle, applies only to automobilereplacement parts distributed byAmerican Honda through the HondaAutomobile Division, and soldthrough a Honda automobile dealerin the United States, Puerto Rico, theU.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and theCommonwealth of the NorthernMariana Islands.

Time Period

Replacement PartsReplacement parts purchased from aHonda automobile dealer arecovered for 1 year from the date ofpurchase, or the duration of the NewVehicle Warranty, whichever islonger, regardless of installationlocation.

Remanufactured PartsRemanufactured parts installed by aHonda automobile dealer arecovered for 3 years or 36,000 miles,whichever comes first. Someexamples of remanufactured partsare alternators, starters, brakecalipers, power steering racks andpumps, ABS modulators, automatictransmissions, and driveshafts.Check with your dealer to determineif a remanufactured part was used torepair your vehicle.Remanufactured parts purchasedfrom a Honda automobile dealer butinstalled by someone else arecovered for 3 years from the date ofpurchase.

Warranty CoverageHonda will repair or replace any partcovered by this warranty that isdefective in material orworkmanship under normal use. Ifthe part was originally installed by

a Honda automobile dealer, therepair or replacement will be donewith no charge for parts or labor. Ifthe part was originally installed bysomeone else, the cost of thereplacement or repair is covered byHonda, but you must pay all thelabor costs.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:• Claims that do not include

documented proof of purchasedate and, if installed by a Hondaautomobile dealer, place ofinstallation.

• Parts considered to be normalmaintenance items, unless they aredefective in material orworkmanship. Some examples arespark plugs, filters, and brake pads.

• Parts replaced under the NewVehicle Limited Warranty or partscovered by other warranties in thisbooklet.

Replacement Battery Limited Warranty

This warranty, unless changed byAmerican Honda in a documentprovided to you prior to yourpurchase of a replacement batteryfor your 2017 vehicle, applies onlyto replacement batteries (other thanHybrid Powertrain System batteries)purchased from a Honda automobiledealer in the United States, PuertoRico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam,and the Commonwealth of theNorthern Mariana Islands.

Time PeriodReplacement batteries are coveredfor a 100-month (8 years and 4months) limited warranty.

Warranty CoverageDuring the first 36 months (3 years)of service, a defective replacementbattery will be replaced at no costfor the battery, labor, or installation.For the remaining 64 months (5 yearsand 4 months), you will receive acredit toward the purchase of thebattery. This credit is based on thethen-current retail price:• Months 37 to 45: 60%• Months 46 to 55: 50%• Months 56 to 65: 40%• Months 66 to 75: 30%• Months 76 to 85: 20%• Months 86 to 95: 10%• Months 96 to100: 5%

Replacement Exhaust Components Lifetime Limited Warranty

This warranty, unless changed byAmerican Honda in a documentprovided to you prior to yourpurchase of a replacement exhaustcomponent for your 2017 vehicle,applies to Honda automobilereplacement exhaust componentsdistributed by American Hondathrough the Honda AutomobileDivision and sold through a Hondaautomobile dealer in the UnitedStates, Puerto Rico, the U.S. VirginIslands, Guam, and theCommonwealth of the NorthernMariana Islands.

Time PeriodHonda automobile replacementexhaust components (muffler, A-pipe,and B-pipe) are warranted againstdefects in material and workmanshipfor as long as the exhaust components'purchaser owns the vehicle on whichthey are installed. If a warranted exhaust componentfails due to a defect, Honda willexchange it. You must have proof ofpurchase for the failed exhaustcomponent. If the exhaust componentwas originally installed by a Hondaautomobile dealer, the cost of laborfor removal and replacement of thecomponent is also covered by thiswarranty.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:• Labor cost for the removal and

replacement of the component ifthe defective exhaust componentwas not originally installed by aHonda automobile dealer.

• Other parts of the exhaust system,including gaskets, hangers, clamps,or other mounting hardware.

• The original equipment muffler,A-pipe, and B-pipe or any othermuffler, A-pipe, or B-pipeinstalled while the New VehicleLimited Warranty is in effect.

• The cost of parts or labor for anyadditional repairs associated withreplacing the warranted exhaustcomponents.

By keeping your Honda in topcondition, you will be rewarded withyears of trouble-free service at thelowest operating cost. The keys tokeeping your Honda in top conditionare proper operation and regularmaintenance.

Proper OperationYour Honda is designed for use as apassenger vehicle. You should use iton designated public roads andhighways. These are some of thethings you should do to take care ofyour Honda:• Avoid exceeding your vehicle's

load limit. This puts excess strainon the engine, brakes, and severalother systems in your vehicle.Refer to the owner's manual tofind the location of the load limitlabel on your vehicle.

• Operate your Honda within thelegal speed limit.

• Drive your Honda regularly over adistance of several miles. Like aperson, a vehicle functions betterwith regular exercise.

• Always use an unleaded gasolineof the proper octane number*(anti-knock index) and that doesnot have any unapproved additivesin it. See your owner's manual formore information.

MaintenanceYou should check the engine oil andradiator coolant levels each time youfill the gas tank. This protects thevital systems of your Honda andmay help you discover potentialproblems.

Always maintain your 2017 Hondaas suggested by the vehicle'sMaintenance Minder™. The servicessuggested by the vehicle'sMaintenance Minder™ should neverbe exceeded. They are essential totrouble-free operation. Parts thatfail because they did not getproper, timely maintenance arenot covered by warranty. However,a warranty claim will not be deniedif a part fails due to a defect inmaterial or workmanship for reasonsunrelated to improper maintenanceor operation.

Operation and Maintenance of Your Honda

The people at your Hondaautomotive dealer are fully trainedand equipped to efficiently performscheduled maintenance on your 2017Honda. However, service at theHonda automobile dealer is notmandatory for continued warrantycoverage. You can have scheduledmaintenance done somewhere otherthan your Honda automobile dealer,or you can do the maintenanceyourself if you have the tools andskills necessary to correctly serviceyour vehicle.

If you regularly take your vehicle tothe Honda automobile dealer forscheduled maintenance, thedealership personnel will know itshistory if you need to make awarranty claim.

If someone else has been performingthe maintenance, you may need toprovide evidence that you haveproperly maintained the vehicle.

This evidence may consist of one ormore of these items:

• Copies of repair orders or otherreceipts that include the odometermileage and date that the vehiclewas serviced. Each receipt shouldbe signed by a qualifiedautomotive service technician.

• A statement that you completedthe maintenance yourself, showingthe odometer mileage and dateyou did the work. Receipts for thereplacement parts (fluids, filters,etc.) should accompany thisstatement.

NOTE: As an aid for the nextowner, keep all maintenance receiptswith the vehicle if it is sold.

How to Get Warranty Service

You should take your vehicle alongwith proof of the purchase date to aHonda automobile dealer duringnormal service hours. If yourwarranty claim is for aremanufactured part or HondaGenuine accessory that wasoriginally installed by a Hondaautomobile dealer, also bring proofof the vehicle's mileage at the timeof installation.If your vehicle cannot be driven,contact the nearest Hondaautomobile dealer for towingassistance. You do not have to payfor towing to the nearest Hondaautomobile dealer if the failure iscovered by any of the warrantiesin this book.

Emergency RepairsHonda recognizes that your vehiclecould develop a serious problemneeding immediate repair at afacility other than a Hondaautomobile dealer. Honda will reimburse you for therepair if:

• The repair would normally becovered by one of the warrantiesin this booklet.

and• All Honda automobile dealers

within 50 miles of the breakdownwere closed at the time, or therewere no Honda automobile dealerswithin 50 miles.

and• The vehicle was immobile, or

attempting to drive the vehiclewould cause further damage or beunsafe.

For reimbursement, go to any Hondaautomobile dealer. You must show acopy of the paid receipt, and thereplaced part(s). The dealer willreimburse you for the part(s) at thecurrent manufacturer's suggestedretail price. You will be reimbursedfor labor at a geographicallyappropriate labor rate for Honda'srecommended time allowance.If you are ever dissatisfied with awarranty service or decision from aHonda automobile dealer, pleaserefer to the Customer Satisfactionsection on pages 2-4.

Hondavehicles registered and normallydriven in other countries are notcovered.Honda automobile dealers outsidethe U.S. may not honor thesewarranties. Traveling Outsidethe United StatesIf you are planning to use yourHonda to travel outside the U.S.,you may want to contact HondaAutomobile Customer Service (seethe inside front cover of thisbooklet). Relocating Outside the United StatesAny vehicle purchased or leasedfrom an authorized Hondaautomobile dealer in the U.S. ismanufactured to meet U.S.government safety and emissionsspecifications. Other countries notonly have different Honda modelsmarketed there, but also have their

own safety and emissions standardsthat differ from U.S. requirements.If you plan to export your vehicle toanother country and register it there,we recommend that you contact thevehicle import agency in thatcountry to determine therequirements. American Honda doesnot have this information.Be advised that modifications toyour vehicle to meet anothercountry's requirements may be veryexpensive and, in some cases,impossible to perform. Parts tomodify a vehicle to meet foreignspecifications are not available in the U.S.
