Information gained will help providers broaden their scope of knowledge, including Pediatric Pulmonology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Allergy, Neurology, Radiology, Pharmacology, Wound Management/Suturing and Otolaryngology. The purpose of this conference is to enhance the knowledge of the health care professional working in the area of pediatrics by addressing a wide variety of topics focused on pediatric specialties in an effort to improve the delivery of safe and up-to-date care to this vulnerable population. Course Objectives As a result of attending this conference, attendees will be able to: • Apply to their professional practice the medical information provided by the pediatric specialists from the various disciplines such as Radiology, Otolaryngology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Pharmacology, Pulmonology, Allergy & Immunology and Neuropsychology. • Utilize the educational resources provided in order to facilitate up-to-date patient care across the continuum for infants, children and adolescents. Who Should Attend Advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, physicians and registered nurses within primary care and specialty roles. Accreditation Children’s Medical Center is accredited by the Texas Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Designation • Credit Designation (CME): Credit Designation (CME): Children’s Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. • Credit Designation (CNE) Children’s Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Contact hours will be awarded. It is Children’s Medical Center’s policy that participants in CME activities should be made aware of any affiliation or financial interest that may affect the speaker’s presentations.
