Puberty is the time when your body is developing and maturing from being a boy to a man or being a girl to a woman. You are physically maturing, and need to make wise choices in order to mature emotionally and relationally as well.

o That’s 1 girl every 3.7 minutes.o Nearly one out of every 3 teen girls who have had a
sexual experience have been pregnant while still a teen.o Only 30% of teen mothers graduate from high school by
the age of 30, and 80% end up on welfare.o One out of every 8 teenage guys becomes a father while
still a teenager.o Teenage fathers earn significantly less money than those
who delay having kids until their 20s.o Children of teen mothers are 50% more likely to be born
weighing less than 5.5 lbs, increasing their chances of birth defects and death.
o Children of teen mothers are more likely to do poorly in school, more likely to go to jail, more likely to experience a teenage pregnancy of their own, and more likely to live in poverty.
