TECHNICAL RIDER FOR AIR FREIGHT-TOURING This rider is part of the engagement contract. The technical specifications in this rider are prerequisite for successful performance of the show. Any changes must be negotiated and approved by both contract parties. The theatre should provide the performer a ground plan and a section of both auditorium and stage, a description of the possibilities for hanging/rigging lighting (bars, pipes, truss or other hanging positions), a list of technical equipment and some photos (stage & auditorium). 1. VENUE REQUIREMENTS STAGE Minimum stage dimensions of stage area Width: 7.5 metres (24.61 ft) Depth: 7 metres (22.97 ft) Height: 4 metres (16.39 ft) minimum to the light rig 1. Minimum of 2 rigging pipes going across the stage
(later in the lighting plot referred as Lx1 and Lx2): • One at upstage. Minimum working load limit 100 kg, 2-3 meters from the back wall/drop. (Can be more if at least 4 m of free stage depth is available down stage) • One at downstage/center stage. Minimum working load limit 50 kg. Basically anywhere downstage (can also be a little bit over to the auditorium/audience). 2. Stage rear wall covered with black velvet (minimum: black fabric) 3. Black side curtain legs, to mask the offstage areas from the audience view 4. Black smooth floor (dance mat, if available) AUDITORIUM The audience should not be very wide compared to the depth of the stage, maximum width of audience being approximately 1.5 times the depth of the stage. In some occasions (depending of the width of audience), some seats in both ends of the first 1-3 rows in the audience must be taken off of use. The performer´s crew will evaluate the conditions according to the theatre layout. CLEANING The stage surface should be free from objects or other obstructions and must be swept clean prior to the company’s arrival. The stage and the auditorium must be cleaned two hours prior to performance and rehearsals. The stage AND the auditorium will be littered for example with gold glitter, streamers and soap bubbles during the performance and rehearsals. The client is responsible for arranging the necessary cleaning services.

2. LIGHT AND VIDEO EQUIPMENTS, minimum set up By Separate Agreement The Outsider –crew can supply the light equipment. Venue should offer possibility to exploit the venues light equipment as an adjunct 1. 6 pcs. High quality RGBWA LED Par with top hat

sectioned in different dimmer channels and controlled with DMX. 10. If available followspot 1-2 kW. 11. The Outsider crew will bring with them all the light filters. 12. If the venue can provide a GrandMa2-family console we will use it. If not, we
will bring our own PC command wing (with 3 5pin xlr, DMX outputs and MA-net, ArtNet capabilities), which then will be connected to the lighting system. The client is responsible for making this connection work (If we bring our own console the venue is responsible to arrange a place to set the console, where to see the stage well).
13. The Outsider crew will provide all the video equipment. If available, two cat5 lines from the sound foh (front of house) position to the stage.
3. SOUND EQUIPMENT By Separate Agreement The Outsider –crew can supply the sound equipment. MIXER AND PA 1. Professional grade sound console with at least 6 XLR inputs and a minimum of
6 separate output channels (e.g. master outputs + 4 aux outputs). 2. Adjustable master-EQ between the sound console and the PA. Not required if al-
ready integrated in the mixer. 3. Sufficient high quality PA (amplifiers and speakers) to cover the whole venue
at a high volume. Even if a smaller venue, 2 subwoofers with 1kW each re-quired.
4. The main sound system must be set up and ready to use. ADDITTIONAL SPEAKERS 1. 4 × small high quality active speakers (for example Genelec 8030A) 2. 2 × stands for active speakers, if available
CABLES 1. Enough XLR cable (a lot) to get the signal from the mixer to all the active
speakers. (Two of the active speakers are located at the center of the stage and the other two active speakers are located at the sides of the audience)
2. Power cables for the active speakers. Extensions long enough to get them pow-ered in the necessary locations (see the locations from above)

COMMUNICATION If available. One full intercom system, containing at least four (4) headsets for communication between stage, light control, sound control and followspot operator.
OTHER A table next to the sound console big enough to fit two laptops, wireless receivers and the audio interface.
4. SPECIAL EFFECTS amounts for one performance / rehearsal. These products performing group can´t carry with the airfreight. Ask products from Your local special effects company.

4. PROP REQUIREMENTS 1. Two genuine red mid-size roses per performance 2. 1 x Prop desk 3. 1 x Coat rack 4. 14 x stage weights 5. 1 x little moped 50 cc (fully working, easy start proof)

5. BUILDUP AND TAKEDOWN SCHEDULE
For building and taking down the performance it is extremely important to have in advance the theatre’s floor plan, pictures and lists of the house’s technique. BUILD UP (including light set-up and technical rehearsal) If the venue is a black box and equipped with fly bars, or a personal (mobile) lift/picker, Nine (9) hours. TAKEDOWN Four (4) hours.

Still and sparkling water, coffee and tea, snacks and fruit served for five (5) people during set-up and two (2) hours before performance
